24gb on a laptop, I'm impressed

 

Ya I got a good deal on it. Bought a few (3) years ago, that's how it came. I don't know much about computers, hit the on button it fires up all good. Had a Toshiba Qosmio with half the RAM worked great but got old like the owner

Obviously CPU is overclocked from 2.4ghz to near 2.8ghz, GPU is overclocked and forced to use 3D clocks at all times as to maximize performance no matter what I'm doing (CPU-Z is not showing GPU clock changes, it is currently displaying stock clocks).

Still, with my ancient setup, still hanging around 50fps to 61fps.

Just seems that you mostly need a good GPU to get high frames in DO

Any idea how much RAM you have, and whether you have an integrated graphics?

Any idea what CPU, RAM, and Graphics you have?

How many frames are you getting from that?

 

Nice to see people hanging on still with legacy stuff, also did the same for long time

I'm afraid that's the case with all of us

 

When running idle around 40
Typically runs around 30
Under stress it drops to 20 or less

 

Playing on 6yr old Mac Pro - although need to upgrade soon.

- Intel i7 @ 2.7gHz
- 8GB Ram
- NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024MB

Play on 2D, constantly at 60fps.

Thanks apetown, may also notice how tight my RAM timings are, all old specs can be squeezed like an orange to get that last bit of juice out of it.

Also working on overclocking the RAM somewhat, but can't quite get the motherboard to cooperate, will get it done though .
