[SC] Pet question

Well, after saving up for a few weeks, I was finally able to get a Pet when it went on sale. I also got Auto-resource collector.

And yes, I did put it on my pet.


Now, sometimes the button is there to use it, I think mostly when I am in combat, when I don't need it, in a map that has no resources.

However, the option is mostly, not there. The main reason I got it was to farm pally, but when I go to the pally field, it won't let me use it.


can someone please explain why?

 

think u need auto loot also

 

are you sure its equipped to both configs? not saying it needs to be but maybe that's your problem. that would explain why sometimes u see it and sometimes you don't. i like to have it on both configs so when i switch to kill something the pet keeps collecting. If its equipped and u have fuel there is no reason u shouldn't be able to use this.

 

needs to be on both cons and auto looter also and both cons just in case case you have too runnning cons to rep and shields up

 

You don't need Auto looter to use Auto resource gear

If your plan was to box the auto looter is what you need not Auto-resource collector thats to pally and a waste at that but you also need atleast 3 lv1 radar or lv3 which ever you can affort I have lv2 auto looter and 2 radar lv1 and I do awesome.

 

Nothing wasteful about auto-resource collector. It cuts time to fill up ship with pally which decreases time it takes to build a gate. I am a free player and without auto-resource collector and 5-3 i would have quit game a couple years ago. something about the free ammo and uri from gates plus chance at drone designs has keep me around! I would recommend the OP do only zeta gates until he/she has fat lasers. Zeta is the BEST gate to build a ship! It is also almost as easy as alpha gate so you don't need to be even FE to beat it
