[SC] PET SPEED

Its been in for a while but the pet speed is stupid ive maxed out pet yet i can box fast then it can and the pet no longer does max range (clearly obvious)

10 lvl 3 radar 1 savlo 1 evasion yet the pet no longer does range

radar 3 Increases your radar range by 12%

x10 = 120% its clearly not doing what it use to

my pet use to cover 80% of the map boxing and it clearly is doing less than 40%

why the (bad words) would any one continue playing this game after spending an easy 1.2 million uri on there pet do you really want exciting players to stop playing??

fix it ITS NOT WHAT I PAID FOR

its like the speed limit being reduced to 1/2 .........way and for way benifit???

 

Hopefully the devs will read it. I keep my fingers crossed for you ^^.

I can only say what I have recently noticed... and when I say recently I mean from the 'Fools Joke' this year... after correcting my screen I noticed that my PET was/seemed to be slower... I don't use Radar for boxing, as I never found it beneficial as a general configuration, so I cannot comment on your observations

after seeing endless complaints about DO in the last 3-4 months i know that wont do jack. there doing what Blizzard did to D2,D3 thats why path of exile is far superior in game play,stability and flow

I do a lot of boxing bd33 and I only noticed a slowness of my PET on the 1st April... I find that I can use full Radar to detect Aliens the same as before ... I have a full max PET too... it is only when boxing that I noticed the difference...
I have never found that being so forthright has changed anything, except maybe a redaction of your text... your description was full and needs no 'added colour'...

 

oh i will use BOLD YELLOW TYPE because its an issues that needs fixing i paid $$$ for that to max out and DO has clearly reduced the pet this is a clear breach of t's and c's i paid for a service that has been changed with out notice
the provided a service "game" and changed the "game" with no real consultation

its like you buy a house for $300k and they say no we want 1million after you have signed a contract
much the same why with the surgeon ship design.....

My observations on the PET is, YES he is slower on the screen, HOWEVER, he is picking boxes up from further away than he used to (has nothing to do with the radar issue, not saying it is not an issue), I am on top of BB and he has already collected it as he is approaching me (I get message "box already collected" before he posts what he just collected). It is a glitch left over (or from) the Retro Looks Upgrade (April Fools Joke keeps on giving) and there have been several threads created and some have even had mods ask if the issue is still happening and for whatever reason the OP's are not responding for it to be sent further up the line to be looked at.

I would have thought when there were more than one Thread about a subject it would automatically be sent to the techs but that is just me. I also do not understand, they tell us not to create multiple threads, but then also tell us not to expound on similar/related issues in someone else's thread (hijacking), so which do they want?

 

I agree bd33. My pet is definitely slower. And yes I see it picks up "stuff" before it gets there. It is just plain slower.

 

what u need all those radars for lol I bet u was not aware that radar got nerfed a while back so 4 radars the same as 10 but hey bet u already knew that.

 

I was not aware and dont remember any Official Announcement to that effect, but then I dont read everything on Forum so maybe I missed your revelation...
I dont/haven't used Radar for boxing on normal days as the boxes are too far apart generally for the radar to be useful, with Radar just increasing the local 'vision' of the PET rather than it's long distance capability... Radar is like extending the leash of the PET... if the PET cannot 'see' a target then it will not move further away regardless of the 'length' of the Leash...
having said that I sometimes add a couple during special box times as there are a relatively larger number of boxes on the map and with the greater density the PET can better fulfill its potential...

This I have also noticed but that does not necessarily make this an illusion... It is surprising that if there were no ulterior motive that they did not just revert to the previous days save of the Game and dump the update entirely after midnight the 1st April

 

I maxed out the radars and auto-looter myself in the past and it all got nerfed It paid for itself despite the co$t (the beginning is good then DO changes things), but now I just run 2 radars and auto-looter for boxin...gotta move around. The radars seem to work on everything else maxxed radars and other gear combinations.

 

Well the "Retro" choice is still in the settings so I assume it is a permanent addition to the game and as this is when the issue was first noticed I am going to assume is the cause of the "illusion" that the PET is slower. When I am travelling across the map I do not see that he is falling any farther behind me (on mini map) than he normally did, he is just picking up boxes I thought I was getting and I seem to be wasting my time collecting them if he is close to me as he has already collected them (and no it is not someone around me cloaked collecting them as I am seeing the contents added to my cargo).

There have been enough threads and comments made about this, it does need to be looked into and fixed but the question is, has any of the Dev Team even heard of the issue? Or lets go one better, Does the Dev Team care about the issue?

I know we have some major changes coming to the game and these are taking a lot of the resources (manpower) to get them ready for the game. I also know that there are going to be more problems created when they are added (no matter how much testing is done). The biggest issue is with every UPDATE we get more BUGS and so far the BUGS seem to be winning the game over the fixes.

I brought this stuff up with the first major change I saw (the change in the A I, where all of the NPC's saw changes to their characteristics and we had to adjust to THEIR NEW patterns) and the number of problems started escalating. We complained about the added glitches, the of screen attacks (NPC was off screen and still hitting you but you were told you were "out of range") and so many other issues. Now we have so many issues we can't remember them all and when we bring them up the first thing we hear is "it's a known glitch" or "we are working on that".

Well whatever is going on at least my pet an I aren't going for the same boxes

 

Wish my PET was better trained but he is young (level 2) and does not know any better YET. LOL

 

Honestly my pet is about 15% slower than any ship I use, even on guard or passive my pet is off my screen as im flying around.My range hasn`t seemed to decrease any my pet is just alot slower than 30% more of my ship speed.

 

lol. my lvl 15 is the equivalent of a lvl 3-4 pet its pathetic! it use to cover 80% of a main map and do up to 30-40k damage. i can box faster then my pet because its so nerfed and as a result it pets poped more during lower quests where im targeting struner/lorkaika and siamon
the neg honor is (REMOVED)

what you need all those radars for is map coverage boxing... you use keep moving boxing and your pet would do its own thing and be well over 80% of the map away its was good its been like that for years, now all you do is trip over your pet and get cheesed off

when and where was a "announcement" posted on nerfing the pet? i know its been in for a good 2-3 months but if it has been nerfed id liek a refund on my unneeded radar's as i paid for them for a purpose
