  1. Hi DO, All,

You got to be politically correct.

I post a note in the Forum. Then I get a reply that you have moved me to another Forum. Why? It doesn't seem to help me in getting the answers I was looking for. Well at least not from you DO. I do get answers from others. The Post goes to the general forum with all the others. There it is read, review, and somebody might answer it.

Well I know who is going to answer it. It is usually one or two people. It is never from you (DO)unless you tell me:

    You are moving me
I was bad with my English
Closing it (when most of the time you do it I'm not ready for it to be closed)

If you guys program the game as well as we got hounded by you for our post. The game would run great and we would be all happy.

    Angus

This is actually answered in the section rules for each area of the forum:

    Speakers' Corner section rules
"This section is for any general discussion on any topic related to DarkOrbit."

    General Issues section rules
"This section is for posting general questions about the game."
    etc

Other than bother the mods, it's kinda detrimental in getting an answer to your question by posting it in the Speakers' Corner*. You're likely to still get other helpful players coming in to help, but it's likely to take longer if you're looking for a moderator to answer/respond to it(unless thread gets moved).

Overall it's probably best to just make threads in the appropriate sections of the forum, otherwise you're misusing the sections purpose.

*Though for example opinionated questions(/asking for others opinions on something) the Speakers' Corner probably can be more suited, by that I mean there is no definite answer for the question.

  3. In the "Speakers Corner" it is really an open forum for discussion instead of game issues. Many of the questions I have answered for you could have been better seen in the 'Newbie" forum others in the "General Issues" and then when they are actual game play the "Technical Issues" is better as the Tech Team MIGHT decide to read them for information about issues they are trying to fix.

Often times you will never see a Moderator in this section except to Censor the Postings.

  4. HI All,

Thank you for the information. I'll try to look for the other forums. I know the speaker forum and how to find it. That is why I use it all the time for everything.

  5. Each of the forum choices are on the main forum page. The Headquarters section is a good area to pay attention to for information on in-game issues/events/changes. The Help section handles most of the questions and is where you can find most of the information to your questions (Game and Event FAQ), Newbies has some good advice for different in game strategies. Users + Game is pretty much wasted space, Buddy Search you can see has never been used, the Feedback is only for TEAM created feedback, Official Forum Games is where the really computer literate get to boost their egos, Meet the Players/Team are for the popular folk to share personal things in public, Clans is for them to publicize their clan for recruiting (it is better than the in game chat for it is a permanent posting), Update & Idea is where we get to tell the TEAM what we would like them to do with the game but mainly is a waste of time, Chat now this is where you would discuss issues from in game chat OR you can communicate with the TEAM ONLY here also, Users' Corner gives you the ever popular Speakers Corner where we can (within the rules) speak our mind on the game and is not recommended to get any answers for issues, Media Library is full of personal videos, Archive is where the dead threads are seen if you so desire to read them.

I think I have pretty much covered the main ideas of the different forum sections.

  6. Wow Help,

You are a fountain of information. I don't know how you know so much, but I glad you do. For you are so helpful and a great person. Thank you so much.
