[SC] Pushing unfair for players who are not UFE

  1. How many of you think that DO's "Pushing" violations are a crock? Not only do both players get banned for a time period but they lose a % of their EP and honor.
    This is a PVP game, and with the amount of limited players on most servers there are not alot of players to shoot down, or if you have a group of chaos type players going around with multiple accounts that they don't care about losing shooting down people over and over so that person gets a pushing violation to knock down their account and the player that caused it can go play on his other account and laugh because you now have to rebuild your ep and honor that got taken away because you died too many times according to the DO way of thinking??

    How are any players supposed to advance if this is going to continue to happen to players that don't have all the best equipment and keep getting popped by players that are just there to cause problems for others???? Do you think that those players will stick around after getting one of these violations against their account when all they are trying to do is play the game and advance their ship? Why are the lower level and non-ufe players punished when they are shot down by players that have more equipment (gained ill-gottenly or rightously) and why does DO allow this to continue? Do they not want any more new players? do they like seeing the masses say bye bye DO, I have better games to go play since you punish weaker players.

    It is no wonder so many new players quit after a short period of time if this is what they can expect for getting shot down too many times.

    The whole "pushing" thing NEEDS serious change.

    Yep, should be enough to stick with their diminished reward system. Getting a third of your ep/hon taken away for simply playing the game the way it's meant to be played while those that buy or share accounts do not is a huge smack in the face for honest players. Something is very wrong here.

    The system is outdated and faulty.
    One time I was fighting over a map with a few players and we spend two hours killing each other. It was 1v2 in their favor, but I am UFE and they were not, so after two hours I killed them about 100 times and they killed me probably 11. One of them got banned from global for accusing me of cheating. Next day all 3 of us get banned for pushing, even though, I asked support, told them to look through my logs, I even pointed out during those two hour about the chat accusations and that that player got banned, I also asked to see how much resources I spend during those fights. It was not pushing, but a few stubborn people fighting.
    They did not care.

    im scared from that so thats why i dont kill anyone after it says u gettin less reward...

  5. This thing here got my attention. I am older player, and wanted to see what's the real situation to the new players, so I started over on new server. The thing is, I got shot (even that I was level 5) 50 times in 1 hour, on x-2 map. You know, people don't care much, they just want to shoot something. Colonels are shooting level 5 players, making it a perfect PvP system. So unbalanced.

    Back on topic. Pushing is real, and something needs to be done, it's true. The thing DO did after killing too many times a player you won't receive awards is not important, on events like this Plague who cares if they will get awards from the kills? No UFE will do, they just want to get event points and get that Goliath design. If nothing else, a cool down between kills must be introduced, and also there must be level restrictions. For example, you should not let level 21 people shoot level 5 people, what's the point?

    Investigation??? and we all think they are running scripts? sounds to me like BP has a system where a player reports another player after they shoot them down or gets shot down and they run with it does it not? Once again the chaos players win. Done with this game.

  8. So DO is finally looking at how to stop the pushing issues:

    Here is how to stop the problem with pushing, in the TA battles you do not have to go up against a lvl player higher then you with better equipment, why should lower level players have to worry about it in the maps, this forces the UFE to only be able to shoot other UFE thus limiting their kill counts, and preventing noob players from being insta-popped over and over. Also during events like hitac or demanders prevent UFE from shooting anyone shooting those NPCs thus negating the need to protect your ship and not getting the rewards and not wasted your uri on the ammo you purchased. it would be sooo simple to do this but DO wants the pushing violations to continue so they can get rid of the old users that have been here and seen how this game has changed and protested against all the wrong doings so DO can get a new generation of players that are unaware of the injustice to the players that have been fighting against these problems for years....

  9. it all gose down to how many times u killed them and if u have any quest on ... to top that it gose by on the time u killed that player if u killed that player say 10 times within that same minute they the system will pick u up

    i myself have had players shoot me over and over again and i pop them and they scream pushing in chat
     

  10. Exactly!! If you are flying in a map boxing or cubing and someone comes up and tries to pop you and you shoot them down and they keep coming back how is that your fault??? It is a PVP based game!!!
    Or if you get shot down by the same player over and over, you get punished because your ship is not as powerful as theirs and since they continue to do it so they are very aware that both ships will get a pushing violation. How is that fair for players with less powerful ships?? the offender should be the one getting a violation to their accounts, not the person that is getting hammered on. it is no wonder so many new players quit because of this, you have a noob account, and get plowed over and over, what is the point of playing if your account gets dinged for EP and honor???

    unfortunately pushing has become a problem for everyone. even those that aren't trying to push. I have had to let enemies stay in a map because I didn't want to risk a pushing violation. how is it pushing if a player continuously wants to rep on the spot in an enemy map? i'm not the one that had the brilliant idea to let people repair in an enemy map, but i'm the one that has to leave my companies map to let this guy hunt or risk a violation. even my clan leader has been banned for be targeted by an enemy, with multiple accounts, that doesn't care about his honor and ep on his lower ranked ship. i'm pretty sure one guy made an account just to get it into our clan so he could look on the clan page to see where my clan members were, because even when we changed maps he would find us again after a few mins. don't even think he got banned for pushing because he would target a different ship first each time he attacked. how is it not pushing when you jump cpu from x-6 to x-3 and the same guy is on you in a few mins? then you hear about guys that get a violation for defending a cbs. how is it the defenders fault that some guy without a chance keeps attacking his cbs? i'm beginning to wonder if it can be fixed, or if it is just another nail in DO's coffin.

    Yeah, a pretty big nail too. One of my clan members has just been done for this and the only thing he can think is that he popped the same guy 15-20 times in 5-3 while finishing his quest there. Should he really be punished with ep/honor loss and 30 day game ban just because the other guy kept respawning and coming back? I think not and advised him to contact support but really not holding my breath. It's very sad to see this happen and I hope somebody is listening here and reviews these punishments for incorrect pushing violations.

    The T&C even states pushing as using 2 accounts yourself to get kills to give advantage to one of the accounts. Supports idea of pushing, where you simply pop too many players within the course of the game, is not defined in the T&C.

    Does it not make sense to respawn and keep fighting no matter what if you are defending a station? That is nothing short of a Clan Leader's and their members duty. Every kill listed is during the time the shields were down and the base was vulnerable. It was not pushing, it was in fact what should have been done. Not one kill listed is after or before the time the station was down. Please look at our logs in the Battlestation section.

    If a player is coming after me over and over and i dont shoot them down before they kill me or they shoot me down over and over where is that justice? DO'S T&C state that you cannot prevent a player from enjoying the game. Clearly that is the case if the same player keeps coming back over and over to cause this issue. Just having "player" and the time does not help. I informed support several times I was being targeted by several players trying to get my account suspended. If that is the case then how is any player supposed to play a pvp game if chaos players continue to do this??? The pushing system has been abused by multiple players with more then 1 account over and over and players have to take this kind of abuse of the system since your dev team can't figure out how to fix it??? Where is that fair according to DO's T&C???


    SUPPORT RESPONSE (yeah this is what they sent, REALLY??? How is this supposed to help identify the player causing the issue so it can be further investigated and others warned of the real intentions of this chaos player?????)

    Again I have tried to raise this issue with support re: defending cbs but it just seemed to fall on deaf ears. DO they really want people to just stop playing the maps and just spend for JPA and rank? Please mods follow up on this, it needs looking at.

I have already thrown in the towel, I am done after 6 years of building that account to have all that EP and honor striped away and no way of getting it back because the quests that were done are gone. it is pointless to keep going with this game as the Dev and support team of DO are clearly not going to allow players to play the game. Chaos, cheating players win, enjoy not having anyone to shoot at but yourselves. BYE DO! and good riddance!!!

    Hopefully someone on the mod team will see this and try to address the issue with support. Something needs to be done about this issue of incorrectly defined pushing punishments! Just make the rewards go to zero after some time (as it is supposed to do) and have them no longer count for quests. Problem solved. Not punish players for playing the game :(

    Hello Developers, I'd just like to inform you that pushing happens because players to kill do not exist. ALL MAPS ARE EMPTY. And that's not the players' fault. Guess why back in 2011 there wasn't such issue.

    Talk about pushing, the highest ranked clan in my company has now began waring same company clans in order to push legally for this event. Their war message actually said "nothing personal, just 10 days of fun." This is the kind of behavior that has helped to cause the maps to be empty in the first place. It's just chaos, and chaos is only fun for those causing the chaos. Funny part is that during other events they whine that no one helps them, I wonder why that would be.

You could end a lot of pushing if they just expanded the lack of rewards for the multiple kills of the same player... after so many kills of the same player... it counts as nothing.... no cargo, no reward, doesn't count as kill, doesn't count to quest.... no incentive. Would make the push useless. You could also, and it would be a programming challenge, have the cooldown after so many kills but again the lack of any tangible benefit for pushing would limit the pushing to bragging rights only.
