[SC] PVE skill goliath

Need suggestions for a good skill goliath for general PVE usage, stuck between venom and diminisher. Which one is better?

 

I prefer Venom, because its ability deals around 135k damage. Diminisher "only" increases your damage on shield by 50% for 15 seconds. If you have around 10k laser damage, your targeted NPC will lose additionally around 75K shield.

 

For pve I would use the spectrum if youre not ufe, or if youre ufe the Surgeon.

For non ufe members I would say spectrum, as soon as you see an enemy, hit that ability and run for your life. other than that its useless.

For ufe I would recommend Surgeon or Cyborg.

I ran with a surgeon for a long time and that extra generator does miracles when fighting more than one person, and to outrun regular goliaths.

For speed side this is what I run, 16 Shields and 4 Lasers on drones with 15 on ship. That makes it a very tanky side but since I'm alomst always in Heart I have a high HP and Shield at all times.

For battle when I'm in pve I recommend full damage, but when hunting or in general I would recommend 4 shields on drones with Hercs. Havocs are good but cause no big advantage.

 

Its depends what you want to farm. If you want to farm cubikon use diminisher, and use venom for bk's.
Equip all lasers and enjoy!

 

Especially if you're not UFE, but can kill Cubikons, I'd say Venom over Diminisher as what @BestGArenEUW said + SAB does not count for the ability + Venom ability goes through shields (afaik, correct me if I'm wrong). Diminisher becomes handy with big damage against big aliens with big shields, such as Uber Kristallons, Cubikons, or such.

 

If you have full lf3 and bo2, diamond i recommend you to use aegis. You can pop cubikon with this easily. Just kami and shoot cube every 10-15 seconds. it will take a little bit longer but you will make 4-5k uridium per cube. Basically you will pop cube with your kami.
