[SC] Rank vs Power

Does a persons rank affect how hard they hit? I was wondering because it seems the higher ranked players, (those with a shield or higher) hit harder than everyone else.

 

Rank as no influence on how hard a player can hit, power is obtained from PP's, equipment, configs, and boosters. There are a lot of players who spend a lot time in GG's just for rank but there hitting power is not that of a player who only plays PvP and as a lower rank.

 

ok answer this question then me and clan member had a 1v1 in surgeon same cons same double boosters semped lazers BUT he has 14 lf4 lvl 16 rest none upgraded lf3. my ship all lf4 all lvl 16 lazers he hits 80-90k x4. i hit less than 70k x4 and we have same pp set up for boxing how can that be right???

 

Are all drones the same level, same numbers, same designs added, these do have an effect also. Is his LF-3's on the ship or drones? Did you compare the drone setup 50-50 shields and lasers?

I only ask as these do have an effect on the damage also. Does he have the Gate Booster active?

I was asking so we all knew what the comparison was and so those who do the calculations might be able to give number information, not trying to assume anything. I was also throwing out some things that may have been different as others might have similar questions about their compared damages.

 

yes i have played this game since sept 2009 and yes my drones lvl 16 everything is lvl16 and battle con means all shields on ship everything else on ship and drones ei lf4 lv1 16 and no gate boosters so answer that one then ? if u can

 

with what formation was he hiting 90k?
without drill no way he culd do that high dmg

rank is just cosmetic like those new ship designes.

 

Damage variation combined with rapid firing rockets and pet and the fact that their combined shared boosters give both more damage, it's possible. Did they use pets, did those pets have damage protocols, etc.

 

what rapid firing rockets? whats that?

 

premium halfs the reload time for the single firing rockets. (2x Rocket damage)

 

You also assume no one is lying about their configs/equipment/boosters.... Arranged 1v1 are for suckers.
