    Well.. heart becomes an almost all-time use formation, so it wouldn't be bad to start with it and then go for other formations that u think are gonna be useful for the type of activity that u wanna have.

    Dependent on your playing style:
    • Killing small NPCs or kiting them: Drill
    • Escaping with a huge shield (fastly) , because there are many enemies: RING
