[SC] Scrap

Only I think scrap rate is way to low when you see for how many things you need it ?

 

You're not alone, many people have made threads regarding the ridiculously low drop chance of scrap but DO would not consider lifting it up a bit for now. From what I remember there was a thread somewhere here where it was stated that uber mordons, for instance, have a 40% chance of dropping scrap. I think it'd be reasonable if say all boss/uber saimons/mordons had a 100% chance - nothing too excessive given scrap's wide use, but also good enough for people to actually attempt farming it

 

Problem with this is the fact that some people farm BOSSES for Xenomite and the replacement of A.S. Ore instead of normal cargo is a downfall also. They should have made this update to add these to the cargo boxes dropped instead of replacing them the way they did. An alternative would be to have them drop 2 boxes (normal and A.S.) so we have the choice to give up the normal if we do not want the credits associated with that portion of the game.

 

Credits is not problem if you don't go crazy on bid, i had like 18b 2 months ago now almost 23b, never buying booster or cloacks for uridium. You get ton of xenomit spining gg, you should always have enough for ISH and SMB if you don't you cpu for accuracy what is if you ask me waste of xenomit i don't see it work, my laser miss more often if use it.

 

have you attempted farming any scrap?scrap drops are quite rewarding actually,but to get anything you need alien locator and at least 4-5 radar protocols level 3 each.

 

I did, 40-45 is average in 60min if you are alone in 4-5 because if you kill all uber they have spawn time and you can't kill them all time.
I got Aurus 2400 aurus and 2700 crystal. This aurus I colect in 2 days of pirate hunt, so I need shoot 120hour mordon and saimon in 4-5 to I can spend it all aurus which is event item sounds insane and thats only for booty, what with seprom in assembly when it come ?

Better drop rate, or more Uber mordon and saimon in 4-5 is only solution to balance it.

I remember on start you go in alpha, 80 saimon come out, you use kamikaze and colect 50 scrap, that was way to much I agree, but this drop now is way to low, something between would be balanced.

 

holy crap,40-45 scrap?when i farmed i used to get only 30-32 per hour.well,man/girl,can't you invest 5 hours every saturday and sunday of killing ubers?i'm not joking,and i am pretty sure that if you want to,you can find time to farm the scrap.
but yeah,while you can get scrap from ubers,expecting people to grind 120 hours for only 240 keys is unreasonable considering how low the drop chance is for the thing you are looking for.
