[SC] SERVER / COMPANY BRUTALITY INDEX

With sever merges upon us, I have been contemplating the culture of the various USA servers I play and have been wondering what will happen when servers are merged. Presently we have three servers. USA 2 and Westcoast have just completed a merge and we have USA1 and USA3. I examined company rankings on the now 3 servers and this is what I found. Listed below you will find my brutality index for the various companies on the three servers. The index simply takes the numbers KILLS (Players Destroyed) divided by the number of company members.

As you will see the carnage on USA1 is on a much higher level. I feel sorry for USA3 as they will be merged with us.

Based on the size of GE7 I am thinking we may see a merge of all the USA servers. That index looks like this...

It could be interesting. One more thought... As I glanced at GE7's numbers and roughly estimated their brutality index, I realized that the PvP action on the USA servers is very low. They far exceed our KILLS / Player numbers. Its not even close. Come on USA players. Step up your game.

 

Interesting, but you should compare it to some bigger server like GA1 or GE1... The amount of kills/eachship is truly frightening on those servers.

 

Thats my husband always has to analyze all the games we play...hehe

 

It would be interesting to see which servers on all of Dark Orbit have the highest Kill / Player stat. I only focused on servers I play. I picked GE7 because it has been merged and would be similar (4 servers into 1). I think a better stat would be kills/player/day. But I do not have quick access to those numbers.

Here are the numbers for GA1. Wow GA1 VRU is a beast.

I am happy to see that all four servers will be merged by October 18. It is nice that USA1 will only have to endure 1 merge. I feel a little sorry for west coast in that they have to endure three merges (more down time for them). USA1 will have to endure empty maps for a couple more weeks.

 

It's been roughly one month after the merge and here is the latest on the new merged server.

PVP activity has greatly increased. Kills per player has increased by about 100 for each company. I don't know about anyone else, but this game just got a lot more fun for me.
