[SC] server merge

Forget the merge - a server raid is more like it and then see what happens

 

Why your rank gets lowred? more players= more ranks.... just think and dont write rubbish

 

If you had read more than the last post you might realise that this is nothing to do with Rank... but then!!! Rubbish is not for just those you say can have it... Maybe a full understanding of the OP Topic would be good

 

It all depends on where you stand in the new rank system after the merge. You will go either down or up. Most assume down.

 

SWITCHING Servers is going to effect Ranks and standings. It does not matter if limited to every 6 months. The other issue is unless you know someone on a particular server you may have chosen a worse server than the one you left and now are stuck for 6 months before being able to change again. This idea, though looks good on paper would not fly very well as each server is different and has different codes and playing styles, don't believe me go into the Test Server and try to play the way you are used to unless you are a PvP player killing everyone you see it will not be the same experience you have on your server.

No-one suggested that a Server that had multiple players from different servers would not have implications and therefore would need to be considered when the 'player' returned to their original server...
The OP has made a suggestion and without some help from the FMs we are left discussing 'smoke and mirrors'
