[SC] Shield strength decrease

Hey guys,

Just wondered if anyone else has had the same problem.

I've logged on today, placed seprom on shields like usual but now my shield strength is not as strong as it used to be. I don't run boosters so that could not have played a part. Anyone know what is happening?

Well, I presume that this is therefore a consequence of the new visual drone display. I hope that this is sorted asap and put back to its original settings.

 

So are they doing anything about this, or is it going to remain this way?

 

Patience. It's a bit asscociated with the new UBA requirement that removes ore buffs which apparently transferred to outside of UBA

 

What's the word on this it's been about two weeks?

 

I have heard nothing - but I presume with all the drone designs and new ship designs that the developers are implementing that they are not really interested in this issue.

 

It happened to me and my few mates before, I send ticket but I get no answer what is strange as always I was getting messages back after a hour or two now been days may be week.

 

As it stands there are currently two issues which may be causing your shield deficiencies;

1. Ore Upgrade Glitch - Often caused by refreshing the page, the ore updates (e.g. on lasers/generators) no longer appear to take affect. If this affects you, please find a safe zone and go through the log out process (don't just hit F5 or refresh). Logging out completely from the game client usually fixes this glitch.

2. Hercules Issue - Shield bonus from hercules drone designs is currently not working correctly for individual drones. If you have all hercules equipped then it should be fine, however if you only have a few hercules then the bonus does not appear to be working.

The developers are aware of both of these issues and are working hard to find the solutions.

Hopefully these will be resolved shortly.

Thanks Ddraig. As I have only 4 Hercules drones this will explain the missing shield power.

However, I was just wondering if you could find out why it's taking so long? If we were getting free uridium after jumping through port then this would be sorted straight away (this did happen a few years ago).
