[SC] Should I get wheel formation?

From my experience, the best defense is the best speed. I also use spearhead to box/sb. I have lvl 3 resource collector and lvl 3 autolooter with 4 lvl 3 radar protocols lvl 9 pet. I'm free player so no doubler or premium. I pally with aegis. The extra 5% speed will do doubt help with spear for boxing and sb but i'm not sure if it's applicable for pallying where -20% laser power hinders your ability to fight npcs. As you can see i'm mainly buying it for its speed. I'm also not built for boxing so i don't have any bio points for boxing or salvage protocols. I only box during sb and events. Other times I pally.

 

the shield drain is massive 5% per sec so whats that 12 secs to have no shield makes a definite no for pally. for boxing not to bad but instapop if someone locks you it's hard to even try to run a couple shots is all they need but the speed is really worth it if you don't mind occasionally getting popped as you can cover more ground quicker. I bought for boxing and to help in hunting as a golie in speed config with wheel has 588 speed upgraded same as spear without wheel. i think spear gets 618 speed with wheel been awhile not sure on that #

 

I imagine it being pretty bad in the pally field unless maybe you have someone to assist you with npcs.
For boxing though, I can see it being good to box while cloaked just keep an eye on that minimap lol. Also to make up for the no shields if you happen to have an hp boosting design (centaur or saturn) use them.

 

wheel is good i think, saves you quite abit. i would get it
