[SC] Slow Summer

Hi all, I know we have had the hitac event, and in May we had the whole parasite tide event, but I feel like we are missing something for the summer.

Maybe I'm just getting nostalgic for the old summer games, and all the fun things tied in with those weeks (years) ...(sun boxes anyone???)

I'm a collector at heart, and I would love a nice boxing event, and I feel like we are missing one right now lolz.

What do ya'll think?....Time to get some good event boxes bumping again??.. like two plus years ago good...( sun boxes, OLD Christmas presents, pumpkins..SUPER pumpkins).

Comon DO, you can fool the noobers, but us older players want some REALLY good boxes again (which you USED to have during events)...NOT what you guys pass off as the "new" lower standard of good.

PS : I think this would go in line with your "lets tweak the game and help the noobs approach" you are trying to take...Time to put your event boxes where you mouth is !!!!!!!!

The "low hanging fruit" you want to pick....well....here's a fresh ripe juicy peach for ya...hook us ALL up like you used to ( remember the boxes WERE good two plus years ago, I remember..sigh)

Anyway I would love event boxes as I have no plds D: and during the day when Im not in gates or doing spaceball I feel like there is nothing to do , Ive spent lots of time cubing , sitting on bases , boxing , helping noobs out etc. But im bored , not a bigfan of ctb but no one on my server plays tdm or sector control anymore which sucks! would love some new events and titles , event boxes etc. I am also doing the UBA which is pretty fun but after 500 fights in there already I would like something else to do lol

 

I hope your not implying me dude ( because that would be incorrect).....Geesh, don't you think ALL of us will be happy....would you NOT like good boxes, I'm confused here, help me out.

Besides there really are not that many "bots" anymore....yeah they pop up, but not a server-wide infestation like it was for TWO YEARS.

SO again I'll ask : Would you NOT like better/more event boxes??? If you never box then OK that's cool, but many people do, and this would help ALL players, noobs and UFE's alike.

PS : I know you are an experienced player Sauron, wouldn't you like lots of noobs running around grabbing boxes for you to shoot??? How can you skip over all the good in this and go right for small negative? ( I say small because there really are not that many bots anymore, and those who do get banned so bye-bye to them).

 

Everyone would love more event boxes , sure when christmas and halloween come round event boxes will be released but as for this summer there wont be any.. They cant have event boxes almost all year round ya know but Im happy with what most event boxes contain atm , I'm not a big boxer but I got box doubler pet protocals and I do just fine

 

Yeah I do wish solar clash came back... The lordakium looked funny. And the boxes were nice.

Heh, I've been VERY wrong about things before, so I'll take a bow for this one.....Now hows about some boxes like its 2...0...0...9 again !

Very cool that an event is coming, after the long grind for full hercs, I need activities to keep playing, cubing / hunting / boxing gets old some days.

EDIT: What event are you talking about? I can't find anything on the forums, and I don't do the FaceBook.

 

Well the boxes and events are out, tied in with the redo of the hanger / ship update.

The boxes have the same as the last 3 special events, ubers, xeno slow rockets, pld-8s are nice

R-310s, extra credits, ecos, not so great.

I suppose hoping for great boxes like 4 + years ago ( LOTS of uri, X4, hellstorms, and NO R-310s lol ) is out the window, at least we got something.

 

Ironically enough I'm getting more spins and uri from boxing in 3-2 and 1-2 than I ever did from 4-3 or 4-1 recently LOL. The boxes are pretty decent for spins but yeah I have so many r-310 and no offense but near 100k PLD... I am likely never to use. I would take some x4 or RB ammo though, or maybe boxes with 15 rsb <3

 

^ exact same boat....soooo many PLD's -_-...how about some more emp mines (NOT charges)...they like to give out the DDM's ...but I haven't gotten an EMP mine in an event box in over a year....put those back in DO !!! (perdy please)
