[SC] Stop Punishing Players that have been playing a long time

    Since the new client I don't really bother with missions or achievements except event ones, and that's mostly for bonus boxes/uri/ammo! I would like to see "balance" on this game again as it was with the "Old Client" FE was easy to get and pvp was all based on skill, now it's more orientated towards ww and very little skill left at all, the odd few!

    I agree with BOB, In fact if I remember correctly the winter event last year the higher level players were able to do all the quest and gates why did that change...

Do has been trying to balances the game,people been asking for it so DO is trying say what you will but they have been doing some improvements like lf4 day also zues day.and pushing I havent seen anyone in my server complain about it if you get hit with a penalty for pushing then stop pushing dont say oh what if they comeback lol you need to kill the same person more then 11 times for you to get checked.

    Thank you all for you input on this issue. I can see that this is a sensitive... yet frustrating situation where the achievements are concerned. I know that it does bother older players to see achievements that they cannot complete due to the fact that they are to high in level. I am also aware that support has been notified of this issue. unfortunately there is no way to remove these achievements or make them available for higher level players.

    As for the Event Mission being available in both Easy and Hard missions. Please understand that we have a wide variety of players at different levels and ship strengths/abilities. So as to offer an event that gives both the higher and lower level players the same basic opportunities to have missions and work within their capabilities a line had to be drawn somewhere. I know that larger players feel they should have the right to do both the Easy and the Hard... by doing that, we would not be offering a somewhat balanced event. A smaller player may be able to do the Easy missions, but would become a large target attempting the hard missions in the upper maps. Where as a Larger players would be able to do the Hard Missions and still defend themselves in those upper maps. I do know that the lower NPC's did not pay near as much as the upper Map NPC's. So Higher level players would not have gained anything more by having access to the Easy missions other than that one achievement would have cleared. I am also pretty sure that due to an unforeseen game issue - when players took the PET GATE mission, it did offer both gates (Hard & Easy)- not just the one. We were made aware that the achievement did not clear once the gate was completed, this has since been investigated and all who did the gate should have received that achievement now. (if it did not, I would recommend that you contact support).

    I hope that you know I am not in any way attempting to upset anyone, As I can understand your frustration on this issue. But as we look a the most recent changes to the game, the newest additions, sales, and events... it would appear to me that Dark Orbit / Bigpoint is trying to offer something new and challenging for all level players throughout the gaming environment.
