[SC] Summary for special Twitch stream on June 13

    although it wasn't announced here, there was a special Twitch stream. Here is the summary in key words:

    JPA
    • it will not coming back
    • in future it is possible to introduce something similar, but without real money (legal issues)
    • actually we wouldn’t have liked it, it was only good for a few players
    open test server?
    • they are happy with the way it works now
    • more 2 day-tests in the future
    • (overall feedback for Vortex of Terror wasn’t great, but it have worked basically bugfree)
    • fix some stuffs for Domination cause of the test servers
    • they will open test servers more often
    • no permanent test servers, but they have plans for dedicated ones
    • testing multiple things at one time
    events:
    • more space between events for fixing
    earning more scrap (from Green Chests) and oil?
    • they are understanding the issue
    • want to introduce new ways for earning it
    • don’t know how it will look
    • should be for crafting the new 3 ships
    • balancing ships e.g. Spectre
    • balancing the values of resources
    • an employee is working on a lot of stuff
    random stuff:
    • there is a decision to wait with the changes (e.g. for Spectre and Tartarus), because the problems are everywhere
      • changes will come in one big patch
    server merge:
    • can’t stop looking at the rebalancing stuff
    • needing a lot of work to get the servers in a line, looking at the basic structure, identifying a lot of issues, “amazing job”
    • taking time for good work
    • it will not interfere with the player’s gaming experience at all
    • servers are performing well
    • working on the issues with Hades
    legacy rankings:
    • having in their mind
    individual maps:
    • =own map for each player
    • not possible, would affect the game experience
    random stuff:
    • hangar fixing after some months
    • working hard on fixing
    • new members
    missing items
    • they don’t know why this happened
    • solution: script, which finds double entries and fix it
    • they won’t fix things any more, if the fixes create more issues
    how big will the servers gonna be?
    • This fact doesn’t matter
    • (61 servers are merged to about 20)
    • guaranteeing same language is not always possible
    working on chat issues:
    • e.g. being banned randomly or being cut out
    seprom exploit
    • next wave will come
    • easy to find people with huge amounts of seprom in cargo
    • but they only discovered one exploit, there are so many ones in the past
    • a little more complicated, when the seprom is equipped, going through much information
    • detecting needs time, some players have had the cheated seprom for years
    random stuff:
    • there is a priority list
    • high priority: bot users
    • it must 100% sure before real punishment (especially in Germany)
    • there was already great success
    • releasing the actions against bots in one smooth move
    cap for seprom upgrades (max. 1 million seprom on lasers)?:
    • hard caps are needed, which they ignored in the past
    • there will be caps (for other things too), preventing exploits
    • 1 billion seprom on lasers makes no sense
    • after action (punishing bug users)
    multiple company clans?:
    • players are identifying with clan and company
    • it will go to change
    • but they have no idea, how it will look
    • they want to create an equal or more valuable alternative
    new hangar system (e.g. too much unused LF4s)?:
    • more improvements for fast working hangars
    • too much data
    Disassembling?:
    • other things have higher priority
    • they need to see an active reason to do it
    • complex problem for designs team; it would need much time for checking the impact on the game

  2. There is not such a thing as 'Too much" LF-4's. You need them to produce the New ones! They do have to make Oil's and Scrap more readily dropped more.

    As for Seprom, I have a Noob account I don't really use, Had it for many years, but will one day, that has a Low Level Skylab that I send 1000 Sep twice a day to Lasers and Rockets. One day when it's ready, I will have it armed. You can't base the amount I have on Lasers and Rockets and consider it a Sep exploited ship.

    One thing I do want to state is the removal of the 'Trade Drone". We want it BACK!
    Some Aliens drop massive amounts of Cargo, such as Super Icy's and Boss Kukurbiums in Kappa Gates. Those drones that we purchase give the player to get the credits buy selling them quickly using that Trade Drone. The Cargo Trader on the PET cuts out as soon as you use it once
