[SC] The hangar...

Okay so i always do my ABG by getting them all to the last wave with SURGERON and than switching to HONOUR DESIGN.

BUT NOW IT WANTS ME TO REEQUIPT ALL MY STUFF FROM SURG TO HONOUR DEISNG??

WHAT IS THIS CRAP!??!?!?!?

I also apperently dont have normal Aegis and spearhead anymore... and my artic goli is gone

 

Well, first of all stop blaming.

Second, yes, you can warp to your ship. You need to "star" them so you can see them in the warp function.

 

THE PROBLEM IS I HAVE TO PUT ALL STUFF FROM SURG INTO THE HONOUR DESIGN MYSELF!!!!

Well, it was the same before. If you don't have equipment into the G-Exalted ship, when you warp in you won't have the equipment. Warping does not transfer the equipment (as much as I am aware) - it just let's you change the ship without re-logging.

All those "designs" are no more designs with the update - they are ships now. So when you warp to some of the "old" designs - if you don't have the equipment, it will not automatically transfer for you.

Better go in shop and check all the changes.

 

well if you had your ship already set up, you didnt need to put on your stuff, only warp

 

You can transfer your configs from one design to another with same amount of slots. Here is the first epic fail. As surgeon has more generator slots you cannot transfer your configs from it to any other goliath. So basically you need to delete configs and equip another design from the scratch

 

Why did I lose my normal aegis, citadel and spearhead, I still have the designs, but I lost the ships, with the update

 

its a skin then why do we need to eq it with gear

 

You always needed equipment on the ship to warp... now for a moment in the Base you can reequip your new ship in seconds rather than minutes with exactly what your similar ship has installed... so jump out of gate before the last wave swap in about 15 seconds and you have the other goli with exactly the same configs as the Surgeon... or why not do the whole gate on the Exalted and get so much more Honour or run the last waves on a pre-equiped Exalted with what-ever else you have in your available equipment...
There are other threads covering what may not appear in the new system compared with what you see now although I thought eT3RnitY covered it well enough

 

reequip in secounds??? *** are you talking about you can't SWITCH FROM SURG TO GOLI DEISGNS, GET IT. And don' tell me how to do gates i rather do 6% more dmg than get 10% more honour from npcs which give max 300 honour.

 

The Surgeon.. oh.. the one ship design I dont have.. sorry and please I dont need the '*' I am quite capable of guessing the words you would rather have said
How you do gates is you choice and I admit I misunderstood as I forgot the Surgeon is not included as a Goli for all the fact that it looks like one... ABY all have Prots as the last wave... could you not do that wave on a simple 'pre-equiped' FE Exalted?

 

i still have to switch around the kami gear and get all basic stuff for a ship... why cant it be like it was before damn..

 

You lost them because when D O decided the designs were Ships and you had the design assigned to the ship it ignored that you owned the Base ship and thus you lost the base ships.

 

Revert this update! This is Useless for those who want to switch from Surgeon to Veteran or Exalted and you need to take a half hour to replace your configs,..your customs drones and Pet.

Complete waste of time designing this

 

and it didnt before?... There is an issue relating to dis-similar ships such as Goli to Surgeon (which I dont have) and maybe Vengie to Pusat but I had heard they were considering how to deal with this even before the update...

Before if you wanted to switch design all you had to do was click the menu and click design, now you have to go to hanger, click design, click manage then tranfer your equipment over which means something else has to be equipped in the first place.

They just took some designs and classed them as ships.
Its quite annonying.
Also my repair credits are classed as jump credits in hangar and jump creds are classed as repair credits.
Tomorow im moving to england for 3 weeks and i hope when i come back they will fix all this crap.

Why should darkorbit be simple, when it can be complicated?

 

did you notice that you can now 'STAR' up to 10 ships as Favourite and have them pre-equipped and if they are the same basic ship you could transfer directly from one to the other... all you have not-equipped stuff is still there and a simple log-off and back after you decide which you'd like to do will suffice... Dont want to teach you to 'suck eggs' but...

I really am a player and haven't worked out all the options yet but I am not too worried about this update/Event... I am still more worried about the 'so-called' Glitch with PET protocols

 

If you didnt notice that when you changed design before this crap it automatically transfered and you didnt need to have this.
Cause if you didnt realize, you cant transfer from goli to aegis for example.

 

I agree. The new system has made it more difficult to go from Surgeon to other goli designs. I use primarily Spectrum and Surgeon so the new system makes me waste alot of time changing between the two.
