    Just found the cold heart truth about this game. However I feel I should uncover the identity of this particular individual who wrote this, as it may change the mindsets of some people...

    But anyway this is it. I'd like to hear your opinions on it.

    And this gets blocked for 'personal' reasons, then so be it. Everybody knows it, yet we all argue about it.

    The game would close down without people buying uridium and giving the company money, how is this meant to be surprising?

    If you consider this the "cold hard truth" then it might surprise you that companies exist to make money by providing a product or service.

    New threads pop up all the time about this. One day I will understand why.

    People think a "Free to play" game could exist with no "Cash Flow."

    You don't have to pay a dime but thank goodness somebody does or we would have nothing to play but board games and cards. Oh and console games but I refuse to buy the next console every year because the old one is now obsolete and nothing is out for it.

    Ironically nowadays, companies are moving towards a "free to play" business model as people end up spending more money on those kinds of games compared to games that you pay for with one up-front payment. :cool:

    Oh, just chip in it is not that expensive, but how valuable it 'your' time o_O Or maybe, you didn't spend the time to be valuable :p

    I chip in a little and it gets me far. 10 blue keys got me aegis and citadel, rebate and prem and Doubler allow me to basically build a gate every day if I work at it

    To the OP,

    not that im saying you dont, but if you play smarter you will reap the rewards. You can actually get subscription to box doublers, rebate and premium for £1.59, £1.59 and £5 respectively. Obviously depending on your currency, i dont play without it and am at the point where i can pop members from No1 clan on my server.

    Im the same as FooJub, it pays off big time and keeps the game online.
