[SC] Those I Offend

As there are a few people who wish that I not post responses or information I have seen/read in their threads please post here and I will be sure to not reply to anything created by you. I try to help with the issues that are brought up and frequently help people find answers they want but as I am tired of offending those who do not want the help I wish to have a list of those who do not want me in their threads.

Please give me examples of these posts as I see more THANKS than I do the HATERS. I know about 3-4 that I will not ever help and a couple of them accusing me of "Spamming for Rank" will start threads even though they already have one open on the topic (just change the title). YES when we have 15 people start threads, with the exact same issue, I will direct all threads to the same ANSWER as they should have been posted in the same thread instead of individual threads. But for whatever reason they are no longer being combined but closed individually as "common question/issue".

Yeah, that is why I add to the Original Post instead of always posting a new post.

I think you might be taking the forum a bit too seriously. You don't have a job to reply to every single thread or post made, I think to most people you just look like spam now.

The fact you would make a thread like this is just, well ... a bit weird.

If you want to know why people have a problem with you its because you feel a need to answer everything even when you don't have the experience to know what people are talking about sometimes. Then when people correct you, you don't seem to take that very well and either delete your post to pretend you never said it or continue to argue a point which people have tried to point out that you were wrong.

Everyone can make mistakes, there's no issue in that, but being stubborn about it is another thing. It just seems like you are making posts for the sake of increasing your post count sometimes.

It might be worth taking a bit of time off from your 'job', you are getting worked up over something insignificant and probably annoying other people in the process.

On a side note though, I understand its a personal question but can I ask, how old are you?

 

Old enough to be your Father. And lately I am posting where people can find the answer to their questions or solutions to issues that have solved a major portion of them.

But you are right maybe I do need to let people figure it out since we have multiple threads being made for the same issue lately.

 

Ah well to put it blunt I had always assumed you were very young because of the way you handled it when people disagreed with anything you said, only reason I asked.

A side note my first wife always had to have the last word in and now i'm happily on my 2nd.

 

Its ok HMHY, we all get those who get irritated with us and to be honest, most of us has been irritated by something that was posted by somebody, no matter how long or short they have been here. I personally have gotten a chuckle when someone has been irritated at me but we know deep down I was not trying to do that to them. The more I post the more I get lost in where I was and lately with both accounts going in here, I have gotten swamped. I have started to take a step back and just leave a lot of post be if I feel they were already answered. I don't care for the forum rankings, which they could remove for all I care, and also don't have to be the one to "also" give the same answer.

At the same time, something you have brought up a lot is that people should look to see what is going on in the forums before they start their own thread. 10 threads on the same subject is blinding, hard to keep up with and irritating in its own right, and I think I have let a number of them know that.

On a side note, you can never irritate me with what you put on my profile page.

 

Lets be honest. Mostly the information you give is misleading and wrong. The will to help is not enough when your understanding of the game is not good enough to help with every single part of it.

 

nah your great its just that it does realy sacks(u) that we had this freaking tons of issues and were all being left behind were all just relying on what they had posted a couple of days ago worst thing is most of them are friging missleading even the event it self yet we got nothing instead of ( WE PASS THIS TO DEV TEAM... ETC ) so basically what we can also give to those questions that are being raised is that we rely on there post thats what we reply also... just let those haters go we cant please anyone more so to those who just come in here and brag......

 

Yes I do tend to have a Quick Temper and will delete messages if they have been suggested as being useless or unwanted. I also will admit when I am wrong as I did with the Rank Point Thread where the conversation started going into both R P systems and I lost track of the actual Company Points that were being talked about.

I did make a sarcastic remark in the "Revealed" thread and ate a bunch of crow because of stating the OBVIOUS, and have pretty much tried to keep my thoughts to myself in there.

I don't think you have any 'haters', I don't think there's anyone who genuinely dislikes you for trying to help everyone. Just don't get too worked up over things, since the day forums were created people have been making the same threads without reading other ones which are about the exact same thing. Won't stop now, just the way it is ^^

 

Like i say I know about 3-4 that have said as much to stay out of their threads and I just wanted to see how many band wagon people I had in the community. These few are the reason I will not apply to be a MOD as I could see them having issues with that also.

 

Never have I seen a thread so pointless like this one in the Darkorbit forums...gg

 

It does have a point and as it is in Speakers Corner does not have to apply to the game but does apply to the Forum. I just want to have 1 location that has everyone who wants me out of their threads listed as I do not want to search OLD threads to find people I do not remember.

 

I have not had any issues with the posts that you have done. In fact, in one of them you pointed out something that I missed. I only missed it though because of the poor explanation on the matter from the source. So keep trying to help people, if they don't want the help or don't like what you write, then that's their bag.

There is no problem with wanting to HELP players and I am sure you have helped MANY players, more than you have apparently harmed.

In my opinion, many players do not play regularly, and either do not bother OR are too damn lazy to check to see if there is a post on a topic that they might create. I myself only read the "New" posts.

To be honest if I only played an hour or 2 a week, I would not have or take, the time to read the forum.

Some people use the forum to "VENT" their frustrations, and the current "state of the game" is not helping the situation.

IF I were you, I would keep doing what you seem to enjoy doing, HELPING OTHERS.
IGNORE the supposed "Haters" and have FUN...

When something bugs you to the point that it is effecting how you perceive what other players are saying.
..............THEN take a break from the game or at least the forum..

I myself am hardly even playing right now due to how the game is running and the lack of response from those responsible to FIX it.

OH....and ... I ..am probably OLDE enough to be YOUR father.....

ENJOY THE GAME....and save your self the GRIEF and DELETE this post.

 

Dude is just trying to make sure there is a thread that he can add to every day. He should get 7 or 8 pages before people figure out what he is doing.

 

I don`t dislike you altho sometimes your annoying , im sure you can better word things in a few of your statements that tend to annoy people. And I find things annoying when people repost the obvious especially when it serves no real purpose to the thread.

Your not the only one I sometimes find annoying lol. But if you have anything to add to threads that is actually beneficial then by all means do so.

 

I guess some people will never accept the fact that their opinions won't make a difference.
