[SC] Time taken to catch up (personal experiences)

So I'm currently thinking about playing the game again, I stopped playing consistently a year or so ago and my account has been sitting idle since then. I'm looking for people's personal experiences with how long and difficult it was to obtain new items.

To set the scene, I don't care for rank, ep/hon/visual designs etc. I'm full lf4/shields upgraded, hercs, havocs, pp and more ammo than I could ever use. I don't enjoy doing gates/npcs but will do if needed. At present I have a sizable stash of uri and plenty of gates to be done.

From what I've seen update wise I need to get spartan drones, I don't have the recipe yet however I have enough gates there to do which will give me the kronos to get it. Quick question, is the recipe only good for one drone? Do I need to do kronos 10 times for 10 recipes? The f.a.q isn't quite clear and I don't have much experience with the crafting system . The f.a.q info is all over the place.

Next objective would be the hp lf4s I imagine, these seem to be the smartest idea, I've got I think 2 obtained from quests etc and finally could be the next ships but I'm happy to potter about in a surgeon for now.

As a solo player I tend to do most things alone in the game, do any of yous have experience with time taken to get the resources for the above items? I'd like to get back into the game but my objective is to be pvp competitive again, if the time taken is ludacris I'll probably reconsider. Some first handle experiences would be much appreciated.

No. You need to do the Kronos only once to obtain the blueprint and the blueprint remains permanent in the assembly, leaving you to decide how many Spartans you want to craft. I advise on this situation to collect a new set of Hercules designs, as Hercules are still good to have. Just collect enough Schism (2250), so you can craft 10 Spartans at the same time. In this case, you still have Full Hercules, but you upgrade Havocs with Spartans, so not necessarily needed to make more Zetas for new Havocs. Best gate for Schism collection is Hades, unfortunately, you need to be that much group player.

It depends. Genuinely, it will take one month to obtain one new LF-4, but can take less due to the Daily Login Bonus system, where is sometimes Tethratrin and Kyhalon available. Also some event missions and booty boxes might give some, as well as Galaxy gates as a bonus reward. I don't remember was it a limited time only or for certain gates, but I do have received e.g. Kyhalon and Tethratrin from Alpha, Beta and Gamma, even from Kronos as well.
