[SC] UBA - seprom is not working

Hello, I have a question.

Today I went to UBA for the first time in like a year and I was suprised that seprom didn't worked in UBA.

I looked in FAQ and if I was looking right, there was nothing said about seprom not working in there.

I have over 8 millions of seprom (cos I don't play that much) in lasers and over 2k minutes in sheilds, so there is no way I didn't have any.

I have Citadel full LF-4 (lvl16) and normally I shoot with drill formation double boostered between 45-65k (x4) and a little over 100k with RSB, but in UBA I shooted 28-42k with x4 and 45-68k with RSB.

On shield conf. I normally have 1.6m of shields with Ring formation but in UBA I had only 1.1m shields.

So it was really suprising for me, that I shooted like a n00bie player.

My question is, was it like that always, or it's something new or it's a bug.

I have a video from every fight excpet the first one and put it probably on youtube, cos I still won except the one time I fought with another citadel with both slow confs. So I will put it here after I edit it.

No it wasn't always like that but it was changed so that seprom does not work in UBA.
I think the change was done because it used up too much seprom if people wanted to commit to a full season and try to win, so those who has used sep bugs would have an advantage. Although that is just a guess, however its been like this for a while now.

So the best configuration will be both slow full of lasers and full of shields in ship and using turbo if someone tries to run away.

Will see if I will go back there, because thx to that low dmg, the fights are longer and you sometime can use twice emp and instashield, so it's very expensive to fight there. And I think I will stick up with normal hunting.

 

It's worth trying out the Aegis too in UBA, the lower laser damage from enemies is a pseudo-buff to its shield and HP abilities.

 

Didn't have the chance to fight against aegis (but it makes sense, that aegis would be the strongest ship there +if you have double booster for special abilities, nobody else, except other aegis, would have chance to kill you).

But like I said, it's pretty expensive to fight there. So maybe next year

 

Just hope u wont get aegis against you if you getting aegis there , cause u both will waste all your ammo and none will die
