[SC] Vengeance Configuration Builds

Hi there, since I recently came back to Dark Orbit after years of quitting previously, I'd like to know some builds that are well useful when grinding NPCs in general. I may someday go for a PVP build but I need to upgrade my drones and obtain more LF-4s if I wish to get into the higher cases of Elite ships.

My current builds comes in 2 forms, Power Configuration and Speed Configuration. Rather self-explained.

Power: All LF-3s on Ship. All available LF-3s on Drones, 1 lvl.3 LF-4 on Level 5 Iris. (Some drones have LF-2s

All Bo2s on Ship

Extras:
10 Slot, Auto Rocket, Hellstorm 2, RL CPU, Rocket Buy Assis., Auto Laser Buy Assis, Auto REP CPU, Insta-Shield CPU, Cargo Bay Expansion, Rocket Turbo, Jump CPU.

Speed:
All LF-3s and 1 LF-4 on Ship. All Speed Gen 7900 on Ship, All Bo2s and Ao3s on Drones
Extras are the same. Just with maybe Turbo Mines


I feel maybe this isn't the best builds but I'm not sure.

Anyone know any good builds for Vengeance Ships? I also plan to get the Lightning Design but may take time if I want to buy it with Uridium or attempt to build it myself in the Assembly

 

You could get the Lightning out of the Weekly Auction also, depending on how Credit Rich you are. I would suggest placing your LF-4's on the Drones instead of the ship and replace the LF-2's/A03's as soon as possible also. You did not specify but I assume you have the rep-4 bot, and cloaking chip.

 

Yeah I have the REP Bot 4. And the cloaking chip for whenever I feel like going to the Enemy maps and do sneak kills. Usually I still want the 50 Cloak for its high value. 10 Cloak is still fine.

Well I'm sure I would need at least 250m Credits in order to have a chance for the weekly auction and most likely bid it on the last minute by the end of the week. Suppose I'll have to farm up BKs or BBKs.
Yeah my single LF-4 is on my Iris since its at a higher upgraded level. Since I don't pay money I'm practically working hard for me to get what I need actually. Even if that will include farming Booty Keys to score LF-4s. If I heard correctly the LF-4 Chances were buffed for more times to be found.

How about the New Lasers that are in place? I only hear they're questionable in power terms, same for the new Shield Generators.

 

If you are talking about the Scatter lasers and associated Shields I have not seen there being any real benefit to changing to them. I am suffering so badly with LAG I have difficulty to play more than 30 minutes without having to log out to prevent from being frozen in place and giving FREE kills to whatever is near me. Hopefully @PSK~SUNDANCE will see this and give his insights into these as he is playing a CREDIT ONLY game with one of his accounts.
