[SC] Weak player - what to spend uridium on

Hello pilots,

I have been playing this game for years, but no matter what, I have been always boxing a lot and buying LF-3, BO2 and G3N-7900 with uridium. I found that to be the fastest way to equip your ship.

But, on my new account, I don't feel like doing this again. I want to farm more from the start, and do more quests. And I have to say, it is going awesome so far. Bidding on auction for LF-3, BO2 and G3N-7900, thus saving up lots of uridium.

Now, my question is: what is the best way to spend the uridium? I have been looking around, there are multiple threads about this, but they are kinda old (wanted a fresh feedback).

On my mind, from my experience so far, cross two things:

• log disks
• drone formations for gates (but it is too early, not sure about this. No point taking formations now, when I don't even have drones, I guess?)

Since the assembly launch, I don't want to spend 50k uri on PET, so I will craft it (collecting assembly resources right now )

What do I do with the uridium? Advise me.

you can save a lot of uri and buy keys when they are on discount, and use them on helix day. Also upgrade hour for your drones

 

save uri get havocks if not already or do hades on days like tmr

 

Well, I do save uridium. But, for what? What to spend the uridium now? I am weak player, so Havocs and Hades will wait for some time. Need advise how to benefit from that uridium while I am weak, but also have benefits on longer run.

If I am to buy keys, wouldn't it be smarter to spend them on Pirate Booty day (Golden booty), for a chance of Apis and Zeus drone?

 

Look at doing zeta gates, and wait out for a double reward day, you get 100 log disks and 50 booty keys, great for any new player.

 

Get your drones after you have filled up your ship properly. Flaxes I believe are all credit purchases, after you have 5, buy with uri your first Iris or two they do go up in price quickly then purchase them on the auction. Save your uri for drone formations and upgrades. Keys are very good to some and a real heartbreaker to others so I can't recommend them.

You mean, to spend the uridium I get on building Zeta?

I am trying to get all the equipment I need to equipping Goliath. Maybe I will get first two Irises with uridium, especially if I manage to get them on sales, that will be extremely cheap and worth the uridium paid.

 

To get your ship stronger and make the best of your uri you will need to have to start with a goli and a veng, use the auction to get as much equipment as you can and use your veng with a cloak to farm BB's and put some pilot points on shields and ships hull you will get 1 log disk a day from the daily login bonus and 200 uri after 5 consecutive days as long as you log on each day and if you save this up when log disk are on offer you can buy some discs. When adding drones buy only 2 Iris (max) and add 5 flax keeping a free slot for bidding on Iris, once you have won an Iris sell your weakest flax, always fly a 7 drone formation till you are full Iris. Once you have all you equipment and good configs for speed and alien bashing you can turn your attention to gates. When you start doing gates spin only during GG doubler weekends when spins are on rebate, the first 2 gates you should consider are Lambda and Epsilon they are both easy and noob friendly, do a Lambda first this will level you up and your drones and free more missions once you have done the lambda do an Epsilon (you will need a good fighting speed config) you will get a LF4 for first finishing then the chance factor kicks in. Buy a X formation to use in gates untill you can afford either moth or drill but remember to change back to standard formation before the alien go's pop. Once you are doing gates turn your attention to upgrades and use a combination of MHH and upgrade hour and never buy booty keys collect them from missions and gates.

 

I have Leonov, Vengeance and Goliath in hangar I am bidding on auction for LF-3 and BO2, but it doesn't go that fast because most of the time I farm alone on low maps. It will take some time to get 15 LF-3 and 15 BO2, so I can equip Goliath and try to go uppers.

Do you suggest to buy log disks?

 

I have extended my post as only half got posted on the first attempt, to go to the uppers you need a half decent ship so log discs would be a priority but only buy when they are on offer, the other thing you should do is make best use of your skylab for getting credits and put some speed on your veng for boxing and use your lenov to alien bash, sorry I did not mention the lenov before it as been so long since I have used one.

I will buy log disks on sale for sure. Might also buy two Irises on sale, and others from auction.

 

On GB1 and 2 the auction is a lot cheaper than on the GE severs I managed to get all my kit on the auction giving me a chance to put on PP's for hull and shields before I started doing gates and using the X formation in gates helped a lot.

 

I am monitoring the auction too on Global Europe 7. Iris prices vary: from 7 mil to 40+ mil. Not sure about the Irises, not sure if I will buy them with uridium, will see how it goes. But I will get log disks for sure, I am aware that the pilot tree gives much benefits.

 

When looking at the Auction remember most of the bidding is done in last 2 minutes and if Iris is LOW at 30 Seconds you can usually snipe it fro 2 million over the current bid, worst that could happen is you get told you bid too low or too soon and got outbid but still have your credits to try again, not like when it was called TRADE and a bid was credits down the drain if too low or too soon.

 

Yeah, exactly. I will try to do it, will wait with buying Irises with uridium. If I can buy them from auction on low price, why not Will get more pilot points, hehe.

 

You said that you used to use uridium on LF3, BO2 and 7900
Well i suggest almost the same thing , but instead all the uridium you would use for lf3... etc use it for bootys (you will get all bo2/lf3 u need and the 7900 u can bid on them) Preferably wait for sale + rebate and premium(if u can) so u get the keys at 600-750uri/key

If you hunting BKS for credits and uri , you will need diamond (lazy) or drill (you need to circle)
Also you can use drill instead of moth in gates(i prefer using drill in almost any gates other than zeta , but combining them , using drill+kami on first bunch of npcs and after that rest with moth works the best)

If you want to use uri for pilot bio , i suggest only for first few points (max 21-24) after that you might be better using that uri for zetas ...

From my experience with zeta gates (have done 21 to get my 10 havocs , hopefully u can get a lot of weekends with 2x rewards)
if u have premium+rebate (at least 55uri/spin) , a gate should be built with 88k-110k and you get 50k from npc , so bassically 40-60k per gate and you get 100 logdisk (12k uri --- 120uri/log ) ; and 50 bootys (30k --- 600uri/key) , well this is why i buy a lot of rebate ).

Yes, I always used to buy all LF-3, BO2 and speed engines with uridium, but this time will be different. I am buying them from auction, so far so good.

Has the Drill formation better impact than Moth? I mean, if I don't do good damage, that bonuses from Drill won't do significant change.

 

The OA is not full Iris yet and building up his/her ship that is why I suggested once the equipment is up to scratch to do Lamda and Epsilon first with X formation and build up uri for drone formations and upgrades doing a Zeta as a first gate could prove I bit difficult for a first time in a gate.

The thing to remember with moth is that it penetrates shields to do more hull damage at the cost of your own shields and is easy to forget your shield drain from its use. For ease a lot of players use drill in case they forget to change formation to let there shields regen.

 

Yes, so far have: 6 LF-3, 6 BO2, and 10 G3N-7900 engines.
I needed advise what is the smartest way to invest the uridium so I can profit now, but also later in the game when I am stronger. Guess it will be log disks.

I am not playing first time this game, I am old player. So, I have no problems doing gates.

 

from my experience (only semi-ufe) , use uri for bootys and do gates , now depends on how much uri "you are sitting on" , prob zeta might be most profitable (especially today)

i did my zeta with a 20 lf2 goli , you just need kamikaze (or it will take you 3 hours , trust me i tried....)
