[SC] What are the best things to spend money on?

Hi, as you all know there's an event going on today which boosts the chances of finding LF-4 Lasers from Booty Boxes. I'm tempted to shovel in some cash, because the other rewards you get from these boxes seem nice enough to warrant purchase. While I'm at it, can I get a list of the best things to spend money on? Premium seems like a decent purchase due to free repairs which make dying less painful, on top of other nice bonuses. What else can/should I buy and why?

 

You are absolutely right about premium - it truly helps a lot especially when farming pirates and other low in health NPCs such as prots so if you want to spend this feature is a must-have. Apart from that a boxing doubler is pretty nice if you manage to box say 2-3 hours per day (if you plan on keeping it active for a while make sure to maximize your bio and pet to get the most of it). Rebate is the other crucial subscription - most players buy it when they have 300-400k+ uri and spend it all in one go, it's not really worth having if you dont spend much uri now is it? Besides those three, buying uri during MHH is your best option - dont buy these booty key/log disk offers, you can get much more for the same price by simply purchasing uri on MHH and rebate along with it

 

Hallo Lucian, ehh...Phantom_Ren : Additionally, bank during MHH and the Uridium deal with Herkules, "free" Herkules without Kappa. Besides in this deal you will get (each 330K banked Uri) 1 month Premium.
But I don't know, when this deal return.

It all depends on your playing style and what you do in the game. The "advantages" have been covered, the uridium purchased on MHH is far better than any other purchase you could make, especially if buying while they are doing a % sale in the SHOP. Planning and budgeting is always the best for you to reap the best benefits. Buying the rebate on a weekly basis is GOOD if you know you are only going to be buying stuff for Uridium during that week (like if doing Bonus Upgrade Hour buy it then) or benefiting from a % sale that you are going to spend a large amount of uridium during (figure if spending over 60,000 Uridium it paid for itself) but a subscription of 8 weeks is better if buying Uridium regularly on MHH, because you are spending it that fast.

Buying the Shield packs is good if trying to have multiple ships ready to fly in hangars so you warp into another ship and it is ready to fight with (LF-3's are a waste as these get replaced with the LF-4's from G G's. The G G M (especially on % days) to farm gates is always a good investment if lucky enough to get gate parts instead of ammo.
