[SC] What as happened to the forum

I check the forums on a regular basis and to my surprise half the forum as vanished like a David Copperfield trick, the game general, newbie and event sections all have gone. Could be some kind of Maintenance maybe I ask my self and if so it would have been nice if an OA had been posted to keep forum users informed before panic sets in.

 

Whatever it is, it seems to be isolated to individual accounts, all the sections are still being displayed for me:

Probably not the most helpful post for you, but at least it lets whoever can fix it know that its only affecting individual forum accounts.

If you log out from your forum account, do the sections reappear?

 

Periodically they do place the OLD/CLOSED threads in the ARCHIVES but that should not be the entire section (just the closed threads that are no longer an issue to the game). I am not sure if this is what they did or not and as this is a server of its own could even be a server issue where the files have become corrupted, so they may not even know there is an issue till someone like you brings it to their attention.

However, when I look at the General issues (under FAQ's) has 92 threads, Newbies section I see 31 threads, Event FAQ's has 28 threads, and Technical Event Issues has 7 threads to be able to be read. If these are not the correct threads please be more specific on the sections you are having problems with. But from my computer everything is looking fine.

These sections of the forum are still very much open to all members of the community, could you relog / refresh and see if they reappear for you please.

The issue seems to have resolved it self, it may have just been a hardware glitch (mouse related) so I will swap my mouse as a precaution.
