[SC] What happens if i change company while having negative hon.

So i found myself in this situation lol



If i change company will it get halved or 50% will be added to it lol

 

I believe that the negative honour would remain the same or you'd only have to change company half a dozen times to almost clear your deficit which is obviously not right .... I dont know if it is still the case but there used to be a special quest that appears at a certain amount of neg honour called 'an offer you can't refuse' or something like that which helps you back out of 'outlaw' status...

Simple rules of arithmetic if you add two negative values then the negative value will increase, in your case you have -206,518,020 honor 50% of -206,518,020 would be -103,259,010. If you add these together you will get a value of -309,777,030 honor. If you do decide to change company you will have to cancel all outstanding missions once you have changed and do the offer you cant refuse quest this is a simple task just jump in a Leonov and bash NPC's on your X-2 map and your honor will get back into the plus in no time at all.

 

Looking at your level im guessing you ufe or atleast near it. Accept the "offer you cant refuse" and just bash cubes till your honor fixes.
But as your negative honor is reduced the % honor boost from aliens degrades. So you will see the honor value from npcs gradually drop to normal values.

Thanks to everyone for their assistance on this question. This post might help clear up a couple of things for you plus it has more details regarding Honor.

Basically it says that if you have -500 (or lower), changing companies results in no honor deduction. Also, I believe the new honor quest is called "An Honorable Mention" and it will only be visible if you have -500 honor or lower and no other quests active.
