[SC] What should I do now?

Current stats:
Ships: Vengi and Goli (I prefer my vengi because I can circle better imho)
Lasers: 18 LF-3
Shields: Full Ao3 and one bo-2
Drones: 6 Flax, 2 iris with 1 havoc (From newsletter)
Extras: Slot cpu 4, ISH, SMB, Advanced Jump, Auto HST, Auto rocket cpu, Rocket double speed, Repair bot (duh) Auto repair bot, Ammunition CPU, Caro expander.
My skylab can produce enough resources to send myself about 6-7k promerium a day (I think about that much)


In the auction, lf-3s go for 30 mil each, and irises go for 70 mil.

Atm my current level is 16 with 210 million xp.
I have an epsilon gate with 82/99 parts.

My goal is fe. Where should I progress from here to get to there?

You have not mentioned anything about your BIO/Pilot Points which should be done. Your skylab should be producing enough Seprom to send to ship not Promerium (Sep on shields and ammo), mine is level 20 and not producing enough for me. You need FULL BO-2 not AO-3. Get all 8 Irises and I get mine for 10 - 15 mil need to look at NON PRIME times, even if just logging in for auctions for 5 minutes. Get another Ammunition CPU and 2 Rocket Buy CPU (use 1 on each config buying different ammo). Also get cloak chips to help evade enemies. How many 7900 speed generators do you have (should have 1 config each ship FULL 7900 for running away).

 

Perhaps has not started the BIO. Anyways, keep sending prom and selling and bid on the BO2's, 7900's and LF3's as mentioned above. Get enough for a goli. Depending on your server, there will be some times when you can get the equipment for less. Best deals are in the middle of the night but not everyone can stay up until then.

Be sure your skylab is upgraded fully and start working on your BIO if you have not already. Hades had great recommendations; take him up on them.

I have found (USA West) 5-9 am and 9-12 pm are good times for bidding. Best is to wait till last 30 seconds (refresh the AUCTION) of AUCTION and place your bid at 15 seconds, I usually increase the bid by 15% (10 mill current will get 11.5 mill bid). BO-2's and LF-3's are usually 15-20 Mill, 7900 I get at 1.5 Mill. I generate enough credits from my SkyLab that I could WIN a LF-3/BO-2 and a 7900 every day just from my SkyLab and not affect my credit balance from the previous day (3 sends a day at 8000 units 25,200,000 Premium and Citadel sitting in 5-2 map to sell).

If you have a PET go pick Pally in 5-3 and build Galaxy Gates that give Herc/Havoc and LF-4's as these are needed for UFE status anyway.

Also, which one should I do first in terms of irisf and bo2? Because the way I look at it, getting an iris helps with extra dmg, and you can just stick 2 AO3 on it until you get bo2. I may be wrong though.

Also PSKSUNDANCE, I have a vengi, a goli, and a leonov. The only reason I don't use my goli is because I am more comfortable with the vengeance for circling.

 

FIRST, thing to do is GET RID of AO-3 shields and replace with BO-2's. This takes some of the hull damage and puts it into the shields. The drones are best to assist with SHIELDS on your RUNNING config they are your only shields so 75% shield is best (I double shield 4 drones and split the other 5, I have an Apis). On my battle config I have 4 7900 and the rest BO-2 (I use the Goli, more shields and damage and circle just fine) and split the drones LF-4 and BO-2. This allows me to inflict damage and yet have maximum shield. Also you want the strongest items on the drones as they have boosters built into them.

What server are you playing on? I have been on USA West and USA2 East and only see that price when a UFE has failed to watch their drone damage and have lost them and want them back quickly, 20-25 is maximum I have seen on a REGULAR basis. There have even been some STOLEN for 1 Mill. Look at HISTORY and see when the best time for your server is. You will have to look twice, as they only show 12 hours of AUCTIONS, remember the time shown is the BEGINNING of the AUCTION not the end and it usually takes about 5 minutes for the recent AUCTION to post to HISTORY.

Like I said earlier you want to SKYPE the item you want in the last 30 seconds of the auction as some people don't care what they pay and will outbid whatever they see just to get the item (the reason for the 10-15% increase). I have very rarely ever won a bid that sat there the entire AUCTION, especially the POPULAR (LF-3, BO-2, 7900, Iris, and Ammo) items, these items are not even looked at seriously till the 2 minute warning.

 

I am on the server GA-3. Even at 1 in the morning iris go for 65 mil.
And ok, I will try to get bo2. (They only go for about 10mil)

Keep looking at the Iris as they won't stay that high for ever, once you have 8 Flax/Iris drones you can not bid on more without getting rid of one. When I got mine 4 years ago they went for up to 100 million and when you bid you LOST credits if you were outbid, and did not know what the current bid was, so you had friends doing test bids for you. My drones cost me about 5 times what my replacements cost now.
