[SC] Winter bonus boxes

Hey guys,

Today, after day change, have noticed that the bonus boxes are gone (that were available yesterday) and I just jumped into my Vengeance to collect them

Was this intended? Cause I thought they will be there for a bit more time

I wouldn't be surprised that, since the winter event is on for a full month, the boxes might be on and off instead of in the maps for 30 days straight.

Why do event boxes give the worst rockets? Do you guys just sell them off from the hangar or do you actually use those junkes

 

I personally never sell anything from hangar, except double items/gear and stuff like that. But ammo, no. What's the point? You can have unlimited ammo now, so that's now a problem for me

 

But when you use crappy rockets, you can't be using better rockets. If you use better rockets and don't sell crappy rockets then lose an opportunity to make credits.

 

Hehe, Kristallons do give (for now) nice amount of credits, though

 

The boxes are ... worse than any other event boxes . The only reason I may collect them is the fuel , so i don't mind if they are not on the map . With or without them is the same . I understand that they can't be as good as kuiper boxes or .. but at least remove the r-310 rockets and lcb-10 ammo from them .

 

Winter BB's as a rule appear 1 day a week over the event period, they used to appear on each Sunday of advent when they used to be red stars. With the advents daily log in DO have to balance there books there are still a lot of good finds in the BB's its all a matter of luck.

Oddly enough these event boxes were in battlemaps but did not receive the 50% bonus on contents, no idea is this is intended or not.

 

As far as I'm concerned event boxes are not meant to be affected by the 50% boost B-maps offer to normal boxes, at least that was the case the last time such boxes were in those maps

 

They used to have the 50% boost may moons ago, guess its something else they had to nerf due to bots etc.

 

are they worth collecting for palliers?
