    Security of Firefox add-ons & Chrome extensions

    Hello SpacePilots,



    We have been made aware that there are add-ons for Firefox and extensions for Chrome that are displaying unwanted advertisements. This alone is neither wanted nor desired from our side, but these advertisements are also not approved by us and also reload automatically. This can lead to heavy drops in performance and also can lead to undesirable advertisements being displayed.



    The add-ons in question for Firefox are:

    · Download Statusbar

    · Flv movies downloader

    · Youtube video quality manager



    The extensions for Google Chrome are:

    · Mail Checker Plus for Google Mail

    · Cloud Save

    · Smooth Gestures

    · smoothscrollapp

    · Neat Bookmarks

    · Trollzeweb

    · Bookmark Sentry



    To make sure that you are not affected by those advertisements, please deinstall these add-ons/extension.
