Server change

As many players are looking for server merge due to inactivity my idea is Putting an option to change server so they can go and play in other servers. To change server there have to pay a certain amount of money and also there should be honor cut to 1/3 or less and also option should be available to use ONCE IN 3 MONTHS to prevent some people going from a server to another 1 every day.

 

we have said this idea many times the prices ranged from 30 to 100 gbp but it want get done

why cant we just say we want advertisement for the game, bring more people to the servers instead of people moving servers? i started playing this game from one of them little ads i saw on the side of Facebook seen as though the server idea is very unlikely to happen, just a thought of mine.

 

The one prevalent question is who on earth did the forecasting for the growth of the servers? They need to be sacked.

 

what about people who spent money to get their rank and suddenly losing it? i think BP never gonna do that

 

thats why server jumpers are going to lose HONOR aswell so that wont happen who paid more is getting higher rank in server he is going

 

Not only do I dislike this idea and know it won't happen, this specific suggestion under the flag of server merge or server jumping disgusts me with such a ridiculous price and loss and only being able to change every 3 months, completely unreasonable, only catering to the top tier of wallet warriors, etc, I almost threw up reading this!

It would be the players fault if they paid such a ridiculous price to move servers, they're obviously insane in the membrane.

Another reason why your specific suggestion is just awful. Catering to only the top tier of wallet warriors with literally every idea on this thread. Save yourself further embarrassment and request that this thread be closed.

 

The only problem I see with the ability to switch servers is the fact that new players that will spend money will get on a dead server, and start getting all the items they'd like with little to no competition among others, so once they get everything maxed, even UFE, they'll immediately jump onto the more alive servers.

I only know very few people that will use this properly, while everyone else uses this as a way to grind for items super easily, and then get to other servers.

I wanna be a server jumpper

If people will be jumping to dead servers for auction... that means they will have to pay DO cash for it to move ship to another server... If they can not afford to build a ship on the server they are on, How are they going to afford to jump a ship to another server that will be a pay only jump for players that have cash.

 

well one way to solve that problem would be to make it so a player could only jump to another server when the player as reached to a certain level, like level 18 for example.
I'm up for a server jump option. it would also benefit players that are bullied on this game. i have seen and been on the receiving end of some nasty players which caused me to stop playing the game for a few months. if a jump to a different server was an option, then i would have done so.

This is an option that should be added. As u want to be a server jumper that is not possible as u have to pay money and pay like 2/3 of their honor so most of high ranked will not jump... But if they want to change server once in 3 months they can do it as many players said in forum servers are dead is reason for not playing so if they want and have money they can go in another server they want to play

Well first of all, why someone want to spend money in a dead server and making that ship full and then switch? If he spend money that means he is going to make ship full no matter if server is full of players or empty as he will be probably doing gates all the time to get stuff he need. My friend that got money to do it build 2 ships in GE1 and GA1 and took like 1 month for each and same money and those are servers full of players. If i was going to start a new ship i was going to start it in server i wanted to play even if server jumping was possible cause i should spend more money to change server and also lose 2/3 of my honor. So i was just going to build ship where i wanted to play.

 

You won't get attacked while doing your PvE quests...lucky you in dead server. You go to a busy server you would probably quit after poof'n so many times. And then you transfer because you have PvP to do and that is hard to do in a dead server

 

Again.... How many times are people gonna make threads about this. The developers said that they won't add this and there's already million thread like this.

Its been stated so many times that it gives me a headache every time I see something that says "Server Jumping, Server Change, blah blah".

To all DarkOrbit Moderators and Admins: Instead of people spamming the forums with the same type of idea, I request you make a sticky thread on this matter since a lot of the people in this community think it's a good idea. Maybe we can have people post their opinions on it in 1 Thread. This would be much better than having a crap load of threads with similar ideas.

Loosing Honor doesn't play much of a factor when it comes to rank points. You still have NPC Kills, Player Kills, EP Points, NPC Shot Points, Player Shot Points, Quest and so on.. Honor only gives me about 5% - 10% of my actual rank points earned. Taking away honor points wouldn't be enough to decrease their rank to where it would be fair for others. Honestly Rank Points doesn't effect your game play as much as having UFE (Building a UFE on an empty server...) and getting on a server you never played on (More populated Server) would be unfair for other people.

Server Changes, Server Jumping, Server Combining has already been ruled out of the equation. The Developers are strongly against this idea and most likely will NEVER happen. So please, can people stop posting spam threads about this when its been mentioned 1000's of times. It's time to build a bridge and get over it. I would be fine with it if everyone posted their opinion on 1 thread, Not a 1000 of them.

 

one question you have to ask yourself, is why are there 1000's of threads asking for a server change.?. goes to show how many people are wanting to have that option. you are the minority.lol

Your agreeing with the idea knowing it would spread those game bullies you speak of, you also forget to factor in that with these prices and restrictions, most of the bullied would be stuck getting violated by every ''nasty'' player one can imagine.

Even more ridiculous stipulations and prices to make this idea feasible when in reality it just makes it even worse and more pathetic. A for effort though. No one that suggests these idea's thinks anything through .

I would prefer instead of one thread for fools to spam this filth that anyone who even thinks of such a heinous idea be banned from the forums and game for ever.

Jokes aside, its been said that this wouldn't happen ever by the developers, me and others have brought up good arguments to discredit this idea extensively as well, on top of that, you all ignore a large amount of players just because they disagree with you which is disgusting, from the amount of players that make their opinions known on this subject, I would think its 50/50 and not a minority majority situation.

For the most part, the same fools post multiple threads on this very subject, usually with slight variations which are all awful in there own special way. Drawing such a ludicrous conclusion and somehow thinking your idea and argument became stronger because anyone against this idea is a minority is just moronic. You obviously and deliberately ignore anyone who disagrees with you, like I said, its a 50/50 situation considering all those that have stated their opinion on the subject on this forum.

My anti-server merge/whatever spam/propaganda makes up 49% of that though . Don't take that seriously though I bet you would then I would die a little inside from losing faith in humanity. Jokes idea, bad idea, simple, thread closed, I win!
