Server transfer

Can they please let people start transfering servers? I live in the U.S. and am stuck in the Scandinavian server. Back in the day, there used to be 15-20 english speakers in chat so it was fun. Now, I'm the only one. I would legit pay some money to switch to a U.S. server as well. Scandinavia is dead af

 

It's not that they don't want people transferring servers, its that they CAN'T transfer people's data to other servers. People have been asking to do this type of thing for years now, and it's still just a matter of data transfer from one server to another. It's not as easy as just plugging a USB in and moving it to another server.

 

yeah but with transferring peoples to other servers they would earn more money i am sure, but a lot of things would crash on servers so there must be other way to do it, mybe players that want to change server sould be in rank list but they would be in list from other server or someting, rank would be same or lower as it was on server before

 

tons of other games can do this easily .. do just can't do anything right . especially on the first time ...

 

Cant see it happening to many players would throw their dummy out and have a tantrum with their precious ranks that mean nothing.

Trouble is they made to many servers and now its backfired on them because they thought it would give them more income .

 

No data has to be transferred. No ranks have to be changed. Nothing.

There could simply be a merge that makes two different servers play on the same maps. They'd both have separate ranks and auktion etc.. basicly nothing changes except that when you are in-game, you share maps.

This is not my idea, there were some guy in another thread carefully explaining this and it was for sure the best thing I've heard.

 

I am afraid you will find this wherever there are more languages other than English on a server.
Take ours GA2 for example.
It used to have tons of English now probably 20 tops stop in to chat.
The majority are Spanish.
I would suggest start again all over on a popular U.S.A. server.

I agree. I used to play on Scandi. Now I'm on the english chat alone. Because of this, I might play once per month. Pretty sad.

 

It's possible to merge to another server. They done this in deepolis.

 

Yes the same for me i play from Europe in GA2 since the first day. Now we have 10 active people who speak english in the whole server :/ If i try to invite someone in the group, 98% of the people are spanish .-. Oh yeah and i have some lags in the peak times with a good connection. That's because i play from europa but when i was in USA last summer everytime i played with no lag.

 

If you are referring to GA2, Global America 2, then look us up in the evenings.
More English speaking people have been around lately. I am the leader of (UZI) clan,Legion of Mars and we are the largest English speakers on server with 42 members.

 

Good to know yes you mean the evening in the server times but is 6 hours ahead for me so i can't see all the users xD anyway you know =OC= ? I'm in this clan
