ship speeds

    Hi I was using my Vengi speed 380 with G3N-1010 speed generators with promerium which you cannot upgrade.
    So why is it that i cant out run an AEGIS speed 300 ???
    Just to be sure I allowed myself to be shot down 2 times.

    W/ 10 sp gen and prom i run 576 in my vengi

    what speed do u get with 10 gens and i also have been ran down by a goli or an ageis
    if they hit me hard enough before I after switch to speed config. to get out of their range. PVP it's fun

    That is incredible so why then with exactly the same speed gens G3N-7900 and prom have we got 2 different speeds???

    samohen - you have your full speed gens on both config's right?

    actually no. Have speed gens on 1 and that was what I was using when trying to outrun aegis.

    ok, at the beginning you said you had 1010, and later you have 7900. Which one is it?

    ~samohen~(success), The speed listed on your backpage is the base speed of the Vengy.
    380 = Base
    480 = Base + 10 7900 Generators
    576 = Base + 10 7900 Generators + Promerium
    The Aegis has a base speed of 300 and 15 slots for Generators.
    300(Base) + 150(7900 Generators) + 90(Promerium) = 540 speed. (assuming all speed gens on ship)
    While you would eventually get out of firing range, it will take a while as there is only a 36 point speed difference between the two ships.
