Since when support team can log on my account?

    I have send a support ticket 2 days ago about a glitch with my ship and I was afk for like 30 mins now and when I tried to get back into game I was send back to the main page and had to log in again. The only reason for that to happen is when some1 else logs into your account from another place of if you are ilde for too long.

    I went to my e-mail and see that I have replies on my tickets and in one of them the support members says:
    I am very unhappy with that statement and I want answers!

    Hi Runcho,

    If you are reporting an issue (or a glitch) on your account then support do have the ability to go onto your account to see the issue first hand. When they say 'log in', they do not have any access to your log in details therefore please be assured that they remain safe and secure. Support will never ask for such details as they do not require such details to go about performing they job.

    Can i ask whether it is anything specific that you are unhappy about?

    I am unhappy that anyone else rather than me accessed my account. Support team can view everything and anything on my account without logging in so they have access to see things. He could of easily see what's going on with my account without logging in and than reply me with an answer. I never agreed anyone to login to my account for whatever reason they have and that also includes support team.
     
  4. So don't want anything from support and they won't log in to your account. Simple. I don't think they would log in, if there was any other possibility. They surely don't do it for fun...
    Btw. why are you actually so afraid of them seeing your account??

    Okay let me tell you something else. Currently I am Game Administrator for 2 different games on another company and I have been team member there for almost 4 years now. The T&C are not much different there either - the accounts are also property of the company, however for those 4 years I NEVER have logged to any other account rather than mine. Therefore, your argument is invalid. o_O

    If you don't want support to look into an issue about your account then don't report any issues. Leave it broken forever.

    You are not an admin of DO, you can be an admin of 1,000 other games all you like but you are not an admin of this game so you do not operate the same way which the admins of this game do. Saying stuff like "Therefore, your argument is invalid" makes you sound like a massive arse and a complete pain to deal with, so maybe it is better you just never email support if you don't want them looking into issues you report.

    Hi Runcho,

    Your correct but not entirely.

    Support can see nearly everything 'in the background', without needing to access an account. However there are a few things that cannot be seen without going onto the account to look at. Some examples i can think of are;

    Rankings - There is no way to see ranks or rank points without going onto the account to view them.
    Pilot Profile - Certain pilot profile attributes cannot be seen without checking the back page.
    Configuration/Hangars - Although support can view all items a player has on their account, they are unable to see items in individual hangars or the equipment/configurations in those hangars.

    Therefore in some scenarios, in order for support to try to assist you they can only do so by accessing the account and checking it through the back page.

    Unfortunately i am not sure that i will be able to provide the answers you are looking for since after all, this issue has come directly from a support ticket. Therefore may i suggest that you get back in contact with support and if you still have any questions or unhappiness, to address them directly to support.
