Sky Lab Transfer Not Working Cont.

My thread was closed with no feed back from me. I dont think a lab cpu would use up 4000+ of one ore at once. I collect far less ingame and sell it. If what you are saying is true, I can't use lab cpu's at all, but I'm highly skeptical that's the issue. This happen a few weeks ago and it corrected after I ported and then came back to the trade station but that hasn't worked this time. Regarding the other issue, the chevrons, your explanation dosen't explain at all how I could have lost half a chevron. Thank your for suggesting answers but I think something more is going. Obviously if I can not resolve the credits issue I will no longer be able to continue to play and pay for the game. OR I will need to esculate my issue/s. I would appricate leaving the thread open longer so that I dont have to create anoter to further communicate about the same issue. Regards

 

I should add I'm away from home for the holiday and unable to log in to the live game. But, as I said, you did not explain the finer details of what I'm experiencing; I understand your response was a highlevel common issues related. But again it dosen't answer the other details, please take time to consider these details.

Which ores are you attempting to transfer?

With regards to rank its not a fixed amount of points for each rank, its continually changing and if you are not keeping up with the rank points changes then you will eventually slide down the rankings. The Ranking system FAQ can explain how it works

 

Thank you for taking the time clear this up with me. The ore I've transferred has been promerium. I've tried quantities ranging from 4100 to just 5. I immediately go into the game and there nothing to trade no ore of any kind. Each time I verify the back page reports success. The only way I can get ore to trade is in game hunting then ore shows up normally and can be traded. Thank you for a clearer explanation about the chevron s and ranking. So back from vacation and did some experimenting with cpu's. And, while doing that I noticed a few things. First, my lasers were upgrading every time I transferred promerium even though they were well over 1 million upgrades there already. It's like it was throwing everything into lasers without limit. I didn't do anything other than the transfer. Then, when I removed the "Ammunition CPU" it stopped happening. I could transfer and the ore, Promerium, would be in my trade window. And now I can't get it to do the bug again. It seems to be back to normal. I did click the use button on the Ammunition CPU a couple of times and see it was set to buy the lowest end laser; but, how this would cause it to upgrade my laser limitlessly I have no idea. I have a screen shot of the over 1.2 milliong upgrades of my lasers but I thought the cpu's only upgraded on a as-needed basis to some reasonable limit.

 

Well I am glad that you are able to sell the ore again.

With the Lab CPU, in your settings if you have the option " Automatic Weapons Upgrade by activating Lab CPU" checked. Every time you kill an NPC or send that particular ore to your ship it will automatically load on to the lasers. Please check to see if you still have that marked as a feature. If it is marked and the lab CPU is installed it will automatically do the upgrade. If you do not want this feature to auto update... merely un-check it in the settings.

I did have this checked. I wish the first person who responded would have added this as a check to their reply and/or someone had said this before the too quickly closed the thread. It was not clear to me from anything I had read that this would happen. Thank you for sticking with me to figure this out; and, I think you can now close this since I'm happy with my understanding of what is going on. Thanks again!!!
