The two best ways to assist noobs is to either expand the safe zone to all the lowers or boost the evasive capabilities of their ships.

  2. Those are both two not good ways. Thank for trying.

    But don't try again.

  3. I actually started a new account in November 2013 with EIC. I leveled up to level 13 in 3 days and since I knew how the game worked I was able to score some LF3 and BO2s and all the cpus in auction plus a vengy and all of its designs. Never spent a dime. The only thing I lacked after 3 days of play to make me FE was 5 LF3s, 1 BO2 Shield and 6 Iris drones. I even got all the uri speed generators and 2 pilot points. It is soooooooooooo much easier now than it was in 08 when I started.

Back then, folks from your own company would even shoot you down on a regular basis.. I even managed to get 9 kills. One was a lvl 19, another was a lvl 14, 16 and 17.

I could have gotten a goliath but if you're not FE that's just a big noob mistake right there since there are so many missions that require Goliath kills. I guess I need to make a video for my youtube channel to show new folks how to level up and power up quickly and how to save money if you're going to spend it. It's all about the skylab and auction. What I think is really lame though is the "You can't kill anyone unless they're lvl 7 or higher". Not sure when they initiated that lame rule. It's not fair to the folks who actually take the time to research the game and learn all the tricks and lvl up fast beyond the ones with a learning curve. But like with any great idea, game, economy, etc..the liberals and democrats have to come along and ruin it for everybody.

  4. what every 1 forgets is when new client was rolled out they said it was to improve the game and build better maps and npcs.. old client massed battles in 4-4 [zero lag]new client 4-4 [empty]old client noobs in their hundreds in lowers at all times..new client 1 or 2 noobs spotted a month .old client u could run and make port with sab ammo if an old fe goli was hitting u....new client u r dead now before u even know u r being hit...old client costs to get best ship ie veng or goli fe was so low even kids on paper round money could get there so maps were always full,[old players will remember the massed noob fights in x4 maps over sibs lol]new client u need a morgage now to become ufe and then u still have to try to battle script runners on top.. so were did new client actualy improve the game as i cant see it o_Oo_O

  5. LOL, yeah because I remember how a major part of the DNC's platform was to ruin MMORPG's. Come on dude, keep politics outta this forum. It's my one safe haven from all the ridiculous crap people on both sides of the aisle spew on the internet

  6. Get use to it. Politics exist every where. What planet are you living on?

  7. I read all of this thread yet I don't see one post about team effort to help "new" players progress.

I read, politics, balance, dmz zones & complaints about Wallet Worriers.

I've been here since 3 months after inception of the game & first & foremost I was taught, hook up with a good "Clan".

This game is a marathon not a sprint. If you want to advance very fast, spend money. If you want to progress relatively fast hook up with a good active clan and go that route.

Bringing balance to the "new players" has & always will fall upon those of us who are "experienced" players.

It is time for US to take some new players under our wing & help them to progress.

Yes, this will take effort, but just think of how good you feel when you receive a new players gratitude & loyalty. If you have 2 or 3 UFE players helping a couple novice players, those enemy UFE's once killed a few times eventually move on to a different location to hunt easy kills.

Make a stand here in the game, get off your butt or high fence and HELP.

Teach them how to's.. bio, sky lab, equipment, best ship for level and equipment.

    Make an effort

    Peace
