Like the title says I won a ship in the auction but now I'm not sure what to do next. I thought it would just become my new ship. Do I have to sell my current ship or what?

  2. Yes, you can do that by allocating the new ship.

Ahh. thank you. If I buy a second hanger does that mean I can keep my old ship and switch back and forth?

  4. yes, you would need to have the ship you currently have in a hangar and once you purchase the second hangar you can keep that ship there. sorry if i sound confusing, but for example you can have a Goli in 1 hangar and a vengence/etc in the 2nd hangar.

really useful when you happen to be in a map and need to go somewhere else, just logout spacemap and click the other hanger and load the spacemap.

  5. yes, just be sure to allocate on the second hanger instead of your first. Then you will have the ability to switch ships back and forth.[IMG]
You can warp ships back in forth while in game, this will require 10 seconds of staying still, and it is absolutely free if you are in the station. Requires uridium to switch back in forth elsewhere or can be used with jump chip to make it free.

this is also another way to do it from backpage. It is an immediate switch between ships and it only works if your current ship is at a base. Whatever ship you switch into, is not necessary to be in a base. (This can happen while logged off of the game)

Each hanger hall you buy should be cheaper than the one you bought before
