Spring Fest no longer? Where's the Easter Eggs?

Hi all,

Been wondering where or why the spring fest hasn't been rolled out this year, anyone know why or if anything is gonna replace it, last year was 25th march to April 14th.

Indeed where are the easter eggs?

You don't need any Easter eggs this year, you have a 400 ubk and sks quest to look forward to completing by the year 5233 ^^

However yeah, looks like there's no eggs this year, which is a shame. Considering box botters have reduced so drastically you would have thought the good event boxes might make a return.
I remember at Christmas a lot of players were hoping for improved event boxes for the same reasons but it was just credit rockets again, it's even weirder now that there are no event boxes whatsoever.

 

I think they renamed the Spring Event as the 2014 Customer Appreciation Event.... unfortunately, they did it in reverse... the longer you've been playing the less you get...

 

No Easter eggs no doubler being bought. Great move Darkorbit.

 

I think the crapper ( i know it isn't a word) event boxes was just a 'sign' as to what may happen in the future with, event boxes.

 

The event boxes have been void or very terrible for quite awhile now, it should be no surprise.

 

Yh I had hoped they would return as event boxes were returned to battlemaps for the Carnival even recently. Was also looking forwards to getting a Bonus Box Doubler for the spring event but I guess I will be keeping my cash.

 

So first they cut the Annual Birthday Gate, and now they're cutting our Event Bonus Boxes. I'd at least like an explanation as to why they're cutting out all the good stuff...

 

cant even say they were good giving credit rockets which most people cant get because they have full rockets and ammo they were not what they used to be

Major disappointment just when we thought the game was improving

 

If you wish, pay for playing the game otherwise play & shut up or (maybe) go to other place with game. I think that this is the thinking of responsible bidders games without any communication with us, why such a change.

OK who here says it is time to remove the cap on the ammo?? bots are gone for the most part and DO seems to have the "cheats" more under control. I need to be able to house more ammo, i cannot even collect or steal ammo when Space ball is on because i am full, then when i spin the extra spins i collect that just gets blown out doing all these high level npc quests then i have to start over collecting boxes for ammo??? and no this is not a complaint because i am not going to pour a ton of money into the game, if you want to do that go ahead, this is something that needs to be done for all players to gain some advantage over the former botters and cheaters that have millions in their ammo bays because DO did not strip it out when they busted them the "final" time....uggh

I guess to get the Easter eggs out we would have all needed to invite 100 real friends and spent £/$10kor more.

There is two ways of looking at this:-

1. The only players DO wants, is a handful of UWW so everyone else is a manned easy kill PvE alternative.
So Easter eggs would just be a waste of time.

However seemingly crazy excessive effort events, that give good reward for the few that finish them will truly give the UWW a chance to show how much they are prepared to spend to see a 10th place pixel against there name. SO Easter eggs would just be a distraction.
Why would DO waste effort on giving it's loyal and new customers Easter eggs?

Only a company that wanted to look after its customers would give extra opportunity for freebies. ( noting that in the old days Easter eggs and other similar event bonus boxes gave reasonable good rewards.)

So Hungarian revolution gets a event but the Easter Bunny gets the lump of coal.

I wouldn't mind celebrating the Hungarian Revolution. Not that I have the faintest idea about what it is, but according to BP it's better than easter -.-

 

Well we got one measly day of event boxes on 1st May in all maps that were slightly boosted for the companies that won the influence event.

Was looking forwards to spring festival and getting a bonus box doubler but it's a waste of cash for just a one day event....

Anyone else feel the same?

 

Really all i see here is everyone crying about what they didnt get for free and about how wallet warriors dont really care about the boxes { eggs } so heres something to think about
!] everyone on this and every other server is better off then those who dont own a computer. 2} If you think its hard for free players to gain anything then look outside watch your tv for the local and world news. There are so many people right in your back yard that dont have a computer they dont have internet some dont have a home many dont eat and thats just in your area not around the world / so sell your computers and stop complaining about what you dont have and be thankfull for what you do have take the money you get from the sale of your computer and feed the poor help the homeless cure the sick / wait thats right this wouldnt benefit you the free player instead keep complaing about what you dont have that seems to be the thought of many of you forget being thankfull and remember to just be greedy UNTILL ONE DAY YOU KNOW WHAT ITS LIKE TO BE WITHOUT.!!!!!!!!

 

Topic change...maybe you could take your own advice , maybe stop crying about everyone wanting things a little easier, we aren't asking for brand new Ufe ships brah.

Some would love to help the poor and homeless but can't for one reason or another, this game isn't real life either, I'm sure many attempt to play it for a break from reality or just some entertainment.
