    Hi everyone,

We wanted to let you know that the team has now agreed on the scope and amount of compensation for the issues you were facing in the aftermath of the Assembly and Ship Customization launch.

We have separate issues that affected different players in different variations.
    · Items/Basic Ships missing: Players did not get the basic ships they had designs for. Although we did quickly repair this, we think a small “sorry” is in order.
    · P.E.T. issues: The Salvage protocol stopped picking up assembly resources If the “normal” storage was full. Also there were other issues that are now fixed.
    · Locked Accounts: A number of players was not able to connect to the game due to several different issues. We should have fixed the vast majority of these issues.
    · CBS modules disappeared when they were added to the CBS.
    · Hades Gate – the NPC rewards for stage 2 and 3 were not booked correctly.
    · Drone XP was disappearing.

We have now defined the first draft of individual and general compensation packages.

The team will now create a list of users affected by the individual problems and will start compensating these users first. After that we are going to run a special “event” weekend which will benefit all players and should help get all the items, points, etc. back that were lost during the “times of trouble

Details about the compensation(s) will be announced next week.

We are sorry that it took so long to react publicly but the complexity of this problem was bigger than we anticipated. This is why it took longer to find a solution that should be acceptable for everyone.

Please note that we are currently also working on redefining the PvP mission that require killing players flying a particular ship, and finding out which players have been using the latest Palladium exploit.

    Your DarkOrbit Team
