  2. Technically BP doesn't have the smarts to track the IP of accounts and ban them when they suddenly switch... although some people change their IP many times to run programs whether on DO or other games or consoles.

Or some people have ISP who change their IP quite regularly (mine is pretty much every week with Sky!!)

And if the person who buys the account is then gonna buy more Uri than they would have done with their old account, then it is in BigPoint's best interest NOT to ban the account...

  4. Not really easy to ban an account that is traded or sold. Because usually the blackmarket scheme is done when not ingame. Usually on a different site, email or a Voice Chat.

I am personally changing IP alot since im moving around alot and using different services because I am in combat training in the field right now so tracking IP wont do much good because IP is not set for each account.

The only way that Bigpoint can do anything about this is the way they are already doing it. When a player ingame says they are using someone else's account or they bought it.

  5. Hello -†ÐAŊĔ†-

Thank you all for assisting with this thread.

The Darkorbit Team cannot ban players for simply changing their IP addresses as in lot of the cases players use Dynamic IP(Changes every time), also there many players who moves from 1 place to another for work or other real life related stuffs, so it is very hard to point fingers on someone for buying an account, trading or selling but if this procedure takes place in forums or in chat the guilty players are punished for sharing, buying, selling or trading of accounts.
Also if you need more clarification on the said subject, you have to Contact Support for further assistance.

Closing as OP was directed to support.
