Streak Kill rewards

  1. What i propose is this. For PVP kill streaks, you get a reward of uri, whites, emp etc. 25 kill streak will get you an additional 1k uri at the end of the 25th kill. 50 kill streak will get you 3k uri at the end of the last kill. 100 kill streak will award you 5k uri at the end of the 100th kill. These streaks can only be achieved once. So if you have received the 5k uri once, you wont be able to get it again. this way it does not get abused. Also, your log will be checked to prevent pushing. Killing the same player more than 3 times in one day will result in only getting 3 kills from them and nothing more. Also, each streak will provide you with a chance to get whites, emps, rockets and so forth.

    25 Kill Streak 1k uri
    50 Kill Streak 3k uri
    100 Kill streak 5k uri
    200 Kill Streak 10k uri
    300 Kill streak 15k uri

    Remember, this is a streak, so if you die at any point before achieving the streak requirement, you must start over. The streak is only broken if you pop in pvp exchanges. Also, once you have completed 25th kill streak, and then you pop, when you reach 25th kill streak again, you can be rewarded with whites, emps, or rockets. The number of it is up in the air. What do you guys think? I know that part of this idea will mean that noobier players will become targets, and sadly that cannot be avoided unless we say that the player needs to have a specific rank to meet the requirement for the streak.

  2. Hmmm... Dunno about the uri. Maybe more EP and honor per streak and a few titles but the uri... Nobody is hitting 300 unless they're a coward

  5. Yeah pushing would be a problem - When the parameters are known to the player the low of the low will get around any system they implement. I can see one clan member switching companies and the clan letting them push of course make a show out of it but the end is already known. Very little of the pushing problem has been settled today yeah they got a system but its not foolproof look at the UFEs that never run out of sep ever wonder how, even the skylab glitch don't last forever.

    Maybe just titles but any better reward will get abused anything this good always is too tempting for those that dont mind bending the rules.

    I suggest making these streak events available in uppers and battle maps only to further safeguard against pushing and to involve just the ones ready for combat.

  7. Dude did you really read the whole post? there are ways to prevent the pushing.
    That issue is with any event or idea. So is that to say that new ideas should be laid to rest because of pushing? Truth is, there are ways that this can be prevented. 1 as I stated before is that you cannot kill the same ship more than three times in a 24 hour day. Secondly, I think maybe, the level of the ships should be counted. If you are a ship at level 18-20. Then you can only get cred for streak if they ships you kill are in the same range of level.

  9. The problem with that is that then the players who have high levels, who dont wanna get shot down will then trickle to lowers to avoid being a part of it.

    So much the better, ppl shouldn't be forced to become involved if they won't want. I believe this will also improve the quality of the event when real fighters meet in honorable combat for a change.

    Scoremageddon is a good event that would function like your idea. I'm sure DO will bring it back in the future.
     
  13. The thing is, scoremageddon was stopped because players complained about being attacked when they didnt want to be a part of the event. My thing is that atleast let us get some rewards for streak and considering that the rewards are only giving once (the uridium portion) why not?

    With map restrictions, non willing players will have egress from the event and fun can be had my those willing to engage.

    Yea the uppers and b maps only will keep the lowers safe for the unprepared.

  19. Hey Foo Joob, I know that 300 is hard, but hey, its supposed to be a challenge hence the great reward. But considering that it be change to bmaps and uppers only. The rewards will be greater now.
     
  20. It would probably be put as an 'Achievement' than a rewards, unless they put it to the Missions column. Besides no one will make it to 25 in a row unless they took advantage. Much less 50 kills, but great idea though :D
