[TEI] Advent Calendar ends on Dec 24th...

...but the note says to make sure you check off each day until January 17th??? All dates on (my) currently displayed calendar have already been collected.

 

I noticed that too; either a glitch, ooorrr possibly another calendar, I have no idea XD

 

when i logged in today there was a new advent calender starting at one again

 

And my question is, is December done and now we're waiting for January 1st for the new calendar to kick in? If so, why display the darn thing. Just have to wait until Monday when the code monkeys return I guess.

 

i clicked on the number one and received a reward.

When you log in today you should have seen a new calendar. Click on the #1 for Dec 25th.. you should receive the first reward.

It ends on the 17th because there is 24 days from yesterday to the 17th

I just clicked on 2 and got the reward for the 26th. 25th is a goner. Once again, good job DO.

This is a NEW advent calendar and the numbers no longer match to dates of opening. I mentioned it in "UNOFFICIAL: DarkOrbit Revealed" and was told to accept the freebies and "quit complaining" but it is a FAILURE of D O to mark doors correctly so it was not confusing, they added Snow Flakes to show the NEW calendar which coincided with the MISSED DOOR effect of the earlier calendar also. SO YES this is a FAILURE of D O.

 

Oh, and...Okapi32 didn't address this issue directly. It was mentioned by other players in the thread.
And WHY is ALL information about this crazy calendar BURIED in Speaker's Corner?!? You'd think there'd
at least be a short blurb in the Event Announcements.

Sometimes I wish I didn't have so much invested in this game so it'd be easier to walk away. EVERY
event has to have something screwy wrong with it.

 

Please know that with each event their is always the possibility of an issue.

Oh, whatever. I KNOW and understand it's a "gift". For some parts of these events getting every single item counts for something at the end of the event...like the Event Missions. Missing one will usually disqualify you for a reward at the end of the event - like a special gate. I know that's not the case with the calendar but it STILL would have been nice to at least see something "official" instead of buried in Speaker's Corner.

Yes this has, AGAIN, been mentioned several times. Even when it is ANNOUNCED there are issues with what is released and what is stated to HAPPEN (just look at the KUIPER GATE Event and the bonus boxes). Seems to me since the Parasite Tide Event they have had to RESTART/CHANGE the programming because of some EXPLOITABLE Glitch/Bug or issue that was found after the Event started.

I see Astraea has posted the conversion chart so it seems that the programmers are not going to make the changes to the door numbering to prevent us from getting "The day's date must match the number on the calendar door" error if we wait till January to start opening doors as we would assume we need to do without the OFFICIAL announcement of the NEW Calendar.

But it is too hard to remember that their game is for KIDS played by ADULTS who get OFF smacking KIDS around. AGAIN, my hat is off to D O for their FAILURE to remember their ROOTS and HOPING they can become a PAY TO PLAY game instead of a FREE game OPEN to ALL 12 and OVER.

What has happened to the HeadQuarters Posts of Event items? We now have to follow an "UNOFFICIAL" post to see what is coming out in the future and HOPE the supposition is correct, last OFFICIAL post was made the day after Thanksgiving and was in the FAQS for Events not in the ANNOUNCEMENTS or HeadQuarters section where most people look to follow the game OFFICIALLY.
