  1. There is currently a very strange bug with the "Test of Time" SpaceCup quests. The damage dealt to the shield of an NPC only counts if it is dealt with either hellstorms rockets or regular rockets. Meanwhile, laser damage only counts the damage that penetrates the shield and does damage directly to the hull, so only about 10-20% of the damage is actually registered to your quest.

If you want to try it for yourself, get one of the quests and kill a kristallon. In theory, if only hull damage counts, your quest will reach 400,000 after killing it. If both health and shield count, it will be 700,000. Instead, however, it is a random number between the two that is based solely on how much damage you did to the shield with rockets/hellstorms

  3. Because Shields regenerate the damage has always been just to the HP of the NPC. This is why the Cubers have such an issue with the people who steal there rewards because they take the shields down while the others are taking HP from them. I found this out on another event quest where I was using SAB-50 and caused no damage until I changed to regular laser ammo.

  4. Like I said, damage to shield counts, just not from lasers. Seems like an oversight if one things works while another dosen't

  5. The singularity damage from either the venom or cyborg does not add to the damage total, at all.
