[TEI] Lost my mission AND 4 drones!

I was working on the Tunnel and had the 8 drone mission ("Slipped Through the Cracks") running. Had 4 out of the 8 and when I logged on today the mission was gone on both my active missions AND the Event Missions list. Also note that even though I (now) didn't have ANY Active Missions, the Event Missions showed I had 0 slots available. I added a Daily Mission which added fine to my Active list. I then went back to the Event Mission list and "Slipped Through the Cracks" was magically back on the list.

So I just lost credit for 4 of the 8 drones required for this mission which means if I redo the mission I have to finish the Tunnel I have going now AND play at least half way through a second one to get all 8 for the mission!

 

The mission is timed and must be done in 90 minutes or less and is why you lost the mission to begin with. DO NOT START it again until you have a complete gate to run with.

 

While it is timed, you have until the end of the event to finish it. Look at the timer.

 

Exactly. Still had until Monday, so that's not the issue here.
I've sent off a love letter to Support...we'll see.

I would like to know where everyone is seeing it has to be done in 90 min or less? I tried the mission with seprom 45 lvl 16 lf4s in moth with using x4 and i say no way anyone is doing it in 90 min or less and if anyone has done it in this time i would like to see the proof please. Enjoy

 

the mission gave us the duration of the event to complete .. 14 days , if we started it on the first day. its now at 3 days and 3 hours.

i also lost my mission as soon as i logged in. i only needed 1 or 2 more drones to kill before the mission finished. now back to square 1.

Okay so there is another post where the guy stated it was needed to be done in 90 minutes (part of a challenge I guess) and he was upset as he had made it to wave 70 and was missing 3 demon drones to be able to complete it with about 2 minutes left on the 90 minute time.

Sorry I did not take the time to actually look at the quest but went by the information in the thread.

 

Same thing happened to me, twice. I've sent a support ticket. Let's see what happens. I've started it twice and got halfway and it reset. So, I've collected the eight. Hoping something can be done. I have to go back to work tomorrow.

 

Don't bother. I've been going round and round with them. I also pointed out that this mission has a timer that says it will expire in X-days
(end of the event) but clearly got canceled early. The twist with THIS mission is the "Hurry up" timer. NOWHERE in the description is this addressed and I have no clue what it is I'm supposed to "hurry up" FOR. It's NOT a 90 minute timer, I had this mission going for DAYS, doing 1 level at a time because I don't have 4 or 6 hours to do the whole gate. It was fine up until Thursday then just poofed.

It didn't immediately go back on the main mission list, either. When I brought that screen up it said I had 0 slots available - but I didn't have any active Event missions. I added a Daily mission for kicks and the Event list magically updated, "Slipped Through the Cracks" was again available and available slots was again 1.

I think support either skims through the emails, their German translator needs updating or they just don't get it/care. Whatever, they keep spouting off that the mission is timed (duh), that the Event has been extended 2 days and I can run the Tunnel of Jokes as many times as I want every 20 hours.

I DON'T want to run this "ammo/time drain" more than I have to, and if I have to start over on this mission, I'll have to go through it an extra time! All I'm asking them for is the mission reset AND the 4 drones I already had put back on it.

if sure the timer ends after 90 mins and the quest goes but the quest stays on the quest page for the time of the event

and to be fair if u don't do it in 90mins u don't get anything anyways so logging off and logging on the next day means the 90 min would be up and u don't get nothing for finishing it after the 90 min so whats all the fuss about

 

The timer doesn't end in 90 min i did the quest and finished the gate " not saying my time cause is doesn't matter" but the timer keeps track and event mission finished whether or not i did it in the fastest or not. Enjoy is only a title and who cares about a few free drones just die 10 times restart the gate and go get more free drones. Have yet to have anyone prove to me where it says the quest needs to be done in under 90 min?

 

I am wondering if the 90 min thing is fast time for doing the gate, like for a challenge. After looking over the time rankings for the West Server, the only one that I can't figure out is Y3, which has a fastest time of 36:37 minutes listed. I am not sure if that is for the TOT or possibly some other gate like the birthday gate.

 

:S it means pop 10 demons or what ever it is this time the ones between each map and there was a rewards for the people who did the gate in 90 mins and under last year

last year there was a section somewhere where it tells u the gate finish times but i cant find it anywhere this year for tot gate

after thinking i might know where it can be found as its a quest u can repeat till the end of the event challenges i cant check my self as i aint wasting my time to do the quest so only people who finish it can see it im sure

 

two things:

1) You still can see it ....Open quest tab then under challenges you will find best times...


2) I am UFE. I finished whole gate with with x4 n sep took me around 2 hr (or less). But when i go n look for best times..I see a noob with 4 pilot point is first....94 hours to his name. I am sure there is bug or glitch tht pilot is aware of. But no way you can he can finish gate that fast unless there is some special TOT gate for noobs.

Also time is 1 hour on timer..its puzzle for players i think

 

u can only see the mission if u did it last year or u finish the quest this year f u have not done any of them 2 u cant see it cos i cant on my noob account

and he prob bugged it or daylight saving time bugged it i don't no

 

I've been trying to complete the mission too. I accepted it twice, and twice it disappeared. Now, support is telling me i have 13 minutes to complete the quest. And, am also being told it's possible to do the entire ToT in 13 minutes. Am I stupid, or is that just an insane comment? On second thought, don't answer the first question, just the second one, please. lol

I've been told by support that I need to "look in the overview". But, I'm not accepting the quest again.

 

Just keep going until the gate vanishes. The timer has issues I have found.

I still see the mission but I have given up on it a week ago. I still see it now and I didn't make this account until Dec last year.

 

guys why are you worrying that much about a mission which give nothing for completing it if you can see do it or just leave it give no uri,no Xp or any other things

 

It gives 100 rank points for completing a mission in your ranking page I believe.
