    Same here I also completed the gate today because the forum said today! only got standard reward not double? Otherwise Like others I would of waited until the next day.

    if you did read facebook u saw
    Break through the waves and earn double the rewards!
    This weekend (Friday midnight through to Sunday 23:59) all pilots will receive double the standard rewards for completing and surviving a Gate.
    That includes double the usual XP, Honor, Uridium, ammunition, Booty keys, Logfiles, Havocs and LF-4s.

    The event should be on tomorrow, the text merely read "today" because that is the information you should find on the backpage when the event is on.

    To that end, I've taken it off the FAQ in the meantime and will readd later.
