[TEI] No Surgeon design during MASQUE?

I thought the surgeon design was going to be in the shop for the MASQUE event on April 22, but I don't see it. Hopefully it will be there May 1.

 

It never said it was going to be in SHOP it did say "ON SALE" and it is if you buy Uridium package 330,000.

 

they already revealed that Surgeon can be craft in Assembly system so no way they will release it on shop now, they will make that you need purchase 330k uri package(event) in order to get it so they can make maximum amount money out of it before release it to everyone.

 

On sale is so often miss understood as being in the shop as with past events with the surgeon, on sale as always been part of a uridium offer; no doubt that the comments will appear not to waste your money as you will be able to craft the surgeon when the crafting system go's live but this is not the case as it was said in the the twitch stream that the surgeon for the time being can only be crafted on the test sever as part of the beta testing. If you are considering buying a large amount of uridium for either gates or upgrades then MHH happy hour is the best way to go as your 330,000 uridium will be multiplied plus you will get all the other extras for the offer.

This is incorrect the surgeon was only made available for beta testing and will not be available when the crafting system is released.

 

not what we was told all the items on the craft system are what we are crafting and more will be added on events and at later dates

 

It is TRUE we will be able to craft a Surgeon, BUT it will not be available all the time and will only be available for short periods of time during Special Events. HOWEVER, it has also been stated to craft things like this is going to require collecting major amounts of NEW Materials and not ALL Materials needed will be available in the maps, some are strictly PURCHASE only (whether this means CASH or Game currency has not been clarified). And by the time they roll out the Assembly/Crafting system the whole system may be changed (no one knows what is actually going to be seen).

As stated, if you want the thing get out your wallets and BUY some Uridium on MHH. Get almost a MILLION Uridium for $100, buy the Rebate when you plan to spend the Uridium and make another 250 K (300 K if you have premium) in savings and if you only buy items when they are % off you save even more. YES you have to spend some CASH on the game if you don't want to do that then stop complaining about what you do not have, it is being made available to you, you are just too cheap to support the game and BUY what it is you covet. The F2P player has always been drug behind the bus and had to work hard for what they got, and have never been given anything they wanted without major work (boxing/pallying) and this is no exception. The powers to be KNOW people want the Surgeon Design and know they need Uridium and since so many people have tightened their purse strings D O is trying their best to increase their income by offering the coveted items as a Bonus Package for a large Uridium purchase.

I already have the Defcom ship and will get 62,500 credits when I sell the extra, I should be able to get the 30K Uridium instead but that will not happen or since I am buying (and recieving 3 times the amount) I should receive triple Bonus too (right Fat Chance of that), but this is the argument I would hear from people like you, upset that the Surgeon is not available in the SHOP for Uridium.

Sorry for the soap box but it is a game enjoy what you can, accept what you get, and work around what you can not. So you have to wait, we have all had to do that (unless we had deep pockets). Funny thing is, the original Deep Pockets have left the game, as they found that they needed to dig deeper than they wanted to, and were no longer the top of the heap. Prime example is ★General★Cave★ once #1 on us2 now a Basic Space Pilot ranked #11 spent money on the game every Happy Hour whether regular or mega, now inactive player (at least 4 weeks without a log in), lost top spot because he was a map player not a gate player.

 

blah blah blah...the first ime around the surgeon was available in the shop 300k uri so its not fair to expect the players that missed that URI OFFER to then have to spend ££££ is it really

plus if the surgeon isnt craft able without cash bought resources u might as well turn the lights off as a lot of people are counting on the fact that u can make it WITHOUT SPENDING any real money, jesus this game needs a new leadership that is interested in the players MORE THAN THE CASH it can make...Happy people spend more..unhappy people will find a new game .... mark my words watch the player base fall thru the floor when u implement this update

its this easy: put the surgeon in the shop for 600k uri and loads will buy it then the same loads of players will have to buy uri so bp will profit too or put surgeon in shop for gbp and watch the players leave in their droves, ur call bp make it a good one

 

agreed DO keeps pushing its players away...i won't be spending 80 bucks to get a good ship to also get a rubbish ship...defcom

by having a single surgeon on sale would be far better than some super expensive uri pack that most people wont buy

Funny you want it at a price where a person had to save for a year collecting boxes to buy it instead of getting it free for the purchase of Uridium that you will use for something else in the future. Yes it is expensive if you don't wait till MHH but almost 1 k per dollar spent is not a bad price for Uridium and so I already have the Defcom ship and will take the credits when I sell it and replace it with this new one.

As I just bought about Mil uri last Sunday MHH, I'm going to have to check if I can get it in about a week for the end of the MASQUE event.

Wasn't trying to create a bunch of all that drama, but that's what happens on these game forums.

Should have bought it when it was in shop then, can't expect D O to sell everything in SHOP and giving it away as a package is not a bad way to increase CASH into the game.

The Surgeon design was supposed to be a limited edition goliath design during the Parasite Tide. So really, the Surgeon design wasn't even supposed to be released to everyone, only the top 10 Parasite Tide winners.

They sold it in shop for 300k uridium a while ago, if you didn't get it when it was in the shop then that's your fault. You're lucky they've given everyone so many chances to get this design despite the fact that it wasn't supposed to be a mainstream design like the skill designs.

And personally, I received my Surgeon through the 100$ deal, and I can say it's worth the buy considering I spend money on this game because it's my hobby.

So stop complaining that it isn't "free" or available in shop, if you really wanted it then you would spend the money. And the "darkorbit wants your money" bandwagon has to stop, because they NEED your money so they can keep your game going (which is why they have the 100$ Surgeon deal).

And by the way, the more money people spend on Darkorbit to increase their income, the more stuff free players can have access to because they can afford to give stuff away. So keep that in mind before you rag on people who "waste" money on this game, or say that something is "unfair" because you didn't have the chance to get it.

And id pay £25 for it IF it came on sale just the ship no uri offer...and so would many more i would imagine lol but sadly its out of reach for the MAJORITY of the player base

 

Yeah, the thousands of dollars we spend so we can fund the stuff and events all of the players can expect and enjoy?

After explaining to you that spending money gives profit to Darkorbit so that they can continue funding the game, you still fail to understand how important it is to recognize that spending helps keep your game going.

Like I said earlier, there have been many, many chances on getting this design, and I'm sorry to tell you this but if you're not willing to go above and beyond, you don't truly need or want the design anyways. Complaining about it and degrading me as "another ww gobbling off" isn't going to help.

 

no they wont because it was 300k uri, 600k uri as it is the game is dieing and you want to push players away more lol

the surgeon in assembly is practically impossible for most players to collect purelly through dieing to others who already have it

The surgeon was available as part of reward during the M.A.S.Q.U.E. Event

This was how the Event description read and several players did win the Surgeon.
As for the fact that the surgeon is part of the Assembly Launch Event does give players the opportunity to collect the new ore to build the ship in question. To be honest, as long as you are killing NPC's you are still gaining a reward from the NPC's main rewards (EP/Honor etc...) and collecting the Ore to create the Surgeon. So basically the Surgeon could cost you nothing if you collect the ore while building up your ship.

Also the ship being available for purchase is a choice, no one is required to spend money to play. Now with the opportunity to craft items you basically just need to play and enjoy the game. Yes their will always be items for sale, as Bigpoint / DarkOrbit is still a business. However they are working towards giving players new stuff and in game opportunities to enjoy most all the fun features.
