Gates don't add time to title, it counts as a D-Zone, that's why you lost it.

I sit in x-1 with titles all the time, you only lose title if you sit in a gate, d-zone, die, or let an npc shoot you for hours on end lol. There are however, times when you randomly lose a title while killing npcs, because the system registers incorrectly, and takes it.

 

You are correct the time is not added to the counter but according to the Title FAQ you do not automatically lose the title because you entered the Galaxy Gate as stated here;

Will I lose the Tag in a Galaxy gate?
No you will not lose your tag if you die doing a galaxy gate.

So as ★★★JUICYLUCY★★★ asked WHY did they lose their title? IF you adhere to the rules posted and the answers to the questions say you will not then WHY did it happen. By this time it is a mute point but it does say there is a glitch that caused this issue and needs to be looked into.

 

You do realize, that, DO is one of the most broken, and bugged games out there right? They also say you can't glitch dmg, but it happens, they say you can't glitch shields or hp, but it happens, they say all sorts of things, and are wrong most of the time. Why? Because it's BugOrbit. If it wasn't, then how did i lose a title while just NPC'ing? Because bugorbits system registers things wrong all the time.

Just to make my post some what on topic titles don't always register as present on your ship; on a side not they are pointless and suck kinda like Darkoribt

She's right, titles don't always register on ships. I once killed a player, with video proof, who had a title, i never got the title off of him, of course i died seconds after to an auto-locker (This was back when bots/auto locks dominated 24/7)
