  1. Just wanted to say thank you to the whole team for working to fix the recent issues. I'm sure you were all working very diligently and I, for one, appreciate the prompt response to the issues.

  2. Lmao... I for one will not be saying thank you. As it took way to long to get up and running and if they had secure websites this would not have happened... "Maintance" that is only suppose to last 1 hour doesn't last 2 days. Somone else, not of DO. played a role in what happened...

  3. While that may be true, unstoppable, if someone else did play a role, how can you fault do for taking time to fix the issue?

diagnosing the issue, isolating the problem and fixing the server takes time. ask any programmer who has to troubleshoot. most times that takes longer than implementing the actual fix.

    I still say thank you.

  5. How can I fault them? For not having a secure portal. That's how. This game is easily hacked as every week an account is hacked...And know their server or w/e is hacked. lol.

  6. No, accounts don't get hacked. Most times that comes from account sharing or other exchange of account information or being linked to social media sites that are rife with problems. Bigpoint has a secure server, it's their payment page. The nature of the game prohibits having it run on a secure server. That's why cache and cookies are so important. I've been told by a programmer that 99.99% of the people whose accounts get "hacked" have engaged in account sharing or other nefarious actions. Maybe a game of solitaire run strictly on your computer with no other software, i.e. browsers, being used. And, with regards to the term hacker, any self respecting hacker wouldn't waste their time with a browser game. They have bigger fish to fry.

This thread can be closed as it seems to have opened up an unnecessary can of worms for those who don't know what they are talking about.

Im closing this as requested by the OP. I will pass your thanks along to the Dev team if my friend and colleague Astraea has not already done so.

    Regards
