Thanksgiving Day and no presents?

How cheap is DO getting that we don't get any Thanksgiving presents in the map on Thanksgiving Day on US West? Seriously.. are ya'll napping at Bigpoint? As one who buys the doubler REGULARLY I'm getting pretty tired of Bigpoint cheaping out on days that historically have always had presents in the maps. Please.. continue to do this and get the few of us that are still buying doubler to stop.

Very cheap indeed, Big point can't even get there dates correct, They had special boxes out for 1 day total, before thanksgiving than comes actual thanksgiving day and we got nothing on US WEST, No boxes, no quests, nothing... Another one of Big Points tactics to raise revenue by having special boxes out for 1 day to increase bonus box doubler sales.. Then of course pull the boxes so pilots/ ships take it in the tailpipe.... Stay classy Bigpoint

 

Yeah...where are the Turkey boxes? I guess no BBD purchase until Christmas box that will tide over well to Mardi Gras box, unless BP nerfs that, too

 

I think it was put aside for the Demaner Hunt instead, could have just been forgotten about too.
It would have been on the 25th and you would indeed have had the event boxes as well as TDM, Invasion Gate and no drone damage, however no quests.

I know being told that it might have been dropped for another event doesn't make it better but I would be surprised if you got an answer from higher up before the day is over, but its as close of a explanation you can get until someone more official says why it never happened.

 

On USWest there were no Turkey boxes Go and look the the Event announcement page/backpage message pop-ups (none) - no mention Un I hardly think the higher ups will react. The way you are typing, it is obvious you do not play on USWest server.

I said it was planned for the 25th but might have just been forgotten about or scrapped because the Demaner Hunt was on instead. Please read my post again :/

 

I don't need to read your post - The post is from the OP perspective aka USWest - You are on another server Therefore your server had different events = different outcome.

LOL Maybe the person handling this got November mixed up with Christmas aka the 25th or whatever This is a German game, anyways.

 

I was actually trying to shed a little light on why the event wasn't on, since I have access to all Official Announcements, past, present and near future, even the ones that were never posted - Thanks Giving 2014 being one of them.

But yeah, I don't play USWest but have access to the announcement that was never posted and tried to offer at least some information since its unlikely you will get any other any time soon. Never mind though, I'll just leave it and not post the rest of the info that would be helpful since I don't happen to play USWest and therefore I must know nothing about it

i do think its very cheap considering there were gifts on previous years
atleast i did not bought the doubler

instead of it is demaner hunt with much lags but very nice pvp , so im okay , but still cant understand why they didnt give us few days with turkey legs and boxes , thought its the most important event in U.S but now im sure its not true ....

 

Thanksgiving and Christmas, Those are the big two, you're right thanksgiving is one of the big holidays, Then Easter and Halloween I guess. SO Yeah it is a big Holiday here, Big Point didn't get the memo.

 

Demaner cargos were paying out way more additional rewards yesterday. 3 out of these 4 additional rewards were guaranteed:
-100 Palladium
-50 extra energy
-100 jump chips
-20 booty keys
Who needs the usual special boxes when you can get these rewards from one cargo?

well with you and your band of "special" players stealing every demander on the maps the rest of us would rather have the boxes so go ahead and act the way you are acting, I personally am done with this stupid event!
