The Stuck On Loading Screen Issue

Not sure and probably completely in the wrong but I think this could be to do with them removing the old quests or at least preparing for it. The old quests probably have some addition sections to actually run the game hidden within one of the files on the servers. Just trying to think of something logical rather than just saying get it fixed. I know no one is happy with any of it but the amount of uptime the game has compared to downtime actually rivals the Service Level Agreements of some corporate companies.

Yes it would be nice for some compensation but there's no point going on about it constantly on all sections in the forum. Also there are loads of people complaining about how crap the game is with all the bugs. I'm sorry but if it's so crap stop wasting your time and go somewhere else instead of spending hours and hours on the game, can't be that crap really can it?

The amount of work they will be putting into will be ridiculous as every minute it's down they're potentially losing hundreds of pounds. They want it up just as much, if not more, than us.

Sorry for the rant about this but think some people are just being extremely childish about an error they probably didn't cause and could have just been a hardware malfunction.

Yeah they could have done a hell of a lot more to keep us informed and that is something they have really let themselves down on. No contact from them on the forums since it went down.

Just want to make it clear that no I am not saying they have done nothing wrong and it's not their fault at all because it is. Just the way SOME people are going off about it is pathetic.

Anyway have fun with what ever you're doing today whilst not on DO.

lol look at him lickin up to bp ass, HAHAHA yes i have been playing this since 2009, and its peed me of no info on whats going on, i have been waiting since 2 pm yesterday to play this and other hardcore d.o players, i think they should o us and least the longer players some info on whats been going on instead of saying nothing, ENOUGH SAID!!!!

 

Some of the longer players.... FYI I cover that section. This is a 2009 account. And if I was "lickin up" would I say that they are at fault for giving no communication and messing it up in the first place. Did you even read the entirety of what I wrote or just read the first few sentences and thought, "lets be one of those people he just said are being pathetic"

The time it has taken them to fix this is going beyond ridiculous now though. If they really wanted they could fix it in two hours or less.

Possibly but if it's a server service it can be alot harder than just restoring from a backup as yeah you are restoring the part that was missing but if there are a lot of things looking for it, it could have made hundreds of things in the background connected to it fail which will need to be restored 1 by 1

Chinch, I'm with you on all accounts mate, but I think they could have fixed this a lot quicker than it has. I just checked game, also korn, mine isn't working :T

 

What really gets me is they have got the nerve to still put pop ups on our screen wanting money...

I personally think it could be something to do with farming the ray... Because we were told that we weren't supposed to do it lol

 

don't know if any one else has looked through other threads, but it was stated that they wasn't sure on how long it would take as hey only had volunteers working on it at the time of heir post, it may be 2014 but technology isn't perfect, things are allowed mess up, its called being patient ..so chinch your right your not 'lickin up' your being reasonable, maybe if people are that addicted to dark orbit and need a fix they should run he fa*e servers for a bit just to stop the shakes? xD

As we are aware that there was a server issue and it was effecting several servers. Unfortunately when this happened I was away at my RL job and was able to update you and the community with the goings on for the game.

As it appears that access to the servers has been restored.
