This item cant be equipped in this slot

    I have a Vengeance Revenge configuration 1 in extras when i try to add any
    cpus all i get is error message This item cant be equipped to this slot ?
    I lost a slot cpu 4 from my inventory in config 1 so i one a new cpu 4 in the
    auction but this cant be equipped.
    how can this be sorted out

    Put the slot extender on a drone then remove it, it should be able to go on your ship after that.
